I have been driving with a broken horn for the past 2 weeks now. It has been very frustrating for me honestly. Lahore traffic is unforgiving if you do not have a horn. I actually do not want to replace mine just want to get it fixed since I like it a lot.

I am getting seals for only Rs 1000 and my khuradia is asking for Rs 500 for labor. So what should I do. The leakage from PS pump is very minor. Oil does not drip and only spread around pump. I assume leakage is only few drops per month. There is almost no decrease of oil level in bottle. Do you think this much leakage is normal or should I do the seals replacement. Furthermore, my honda civic car A/C compressor is making some khir khir sound. I repaired it last year for Rs 7000 but after only one season it is making noise with some vibration. Please advice me what should I do now. Either repair it again or get a kabali compressor from Bilal Gunj.

I won't do it. Because if the problem is this minor you shouldn't go for pump repair. Once you repair it there is a good chance your pump won't last long. If you keep using it like this it will definitely keep working fine. You will just need to fill up one a couple of months.

Seals costing 1000 is definitely not OEM, and will not last. Such minor leakage should be ignored as suggested by Faizan920.

Where is the leakage exactly, it normally leaks from these 2 points I circled in red. Narrow it down to the exact location, if its one of these, then no need to open the pump, these are external seals and can easily be changed by yourself. A Taiwanese kit will cost about 500.

Man leave the issue. Honestly i am regretting after getting seals to non genuine ones. Before driving experience was good now sometimes when i start car steering gets heavy (rarely though), leave it as it is
My compressor has slight noise too but i would jusy ignore the issue unless vibrations increase alot

Sorry didnt got chance to reply early. Yeah complete tuning was done along throttle body cleaning. Removed cng venturi and setup. Car is kinda smooth now, no jerks and mileage also increased a bit. Now ac compresser is making noise like noise from a loose belt. Shown this to mechanic and he said might be bearing issue due to dust, so he applied some mobil oil on compresser and noise decreased just for a day. Now I want to know that whether these bearings stuff is replaceable or not as I have bought this kabli compresser in April so dont want to change it. Even with noise cooling is good.

Not sure about lahore but in islamabad you can get oem seals and there is a mechanic who used to work in honda classic, named akash. He has changed the seals of my car PSP and few others on this same thread and no one had problem afterwards.

As for compressor, its not a serviceable item. If bearing is giving noise then it can be changed but that is merely a kharcha of 2k. Why you had to spend 7k? 6k ka to islamabad me kabli compressor aa jata hai. I had same issue of noise and vibration (it is due to bad compressor clutch bearing usually) and i got my compressor changed by kabli. 6k compressor, 2k gas charging, 2k labour.

Bearing is replaceable only if your mechanic is skilled and has specialized tool aka pulley puller (google it) hammering it out will ruin the whole thing. BUT the bearing usually comes pre-fit with the pulley and bearing alone is available in market (brand new) but pulley set is not available so you will have to buy kabli pulley bearing set which again will have no warranty and it will be hard to find.

Try discussing with a machinist if he can take out the bearing from pulley and press fit a new one into it but in my experience, he won't do it because there are metal locks (see image below to get an idea) that retain the bearing inside pulley

So is it recommended to change whole transmission with kabli or changing bearing is fine? but i feel that when transmission will be opened, many things will require changing as you don't open transmission every day

I had the same noise problem with my A/C compressor last year. So I repaired it for Rs 7000 but unfortunately it has started making noise after only 6 months. I will suggest you not to waste money on repairing and better buy a good kabli compressor. I have seen that Honda car parts repairing is not reliable and durable. Replacement is a better option.

7000 is too much for repair, like i said, itne men to kabli compressor aa jata hai. In fact there is nothing which can be repaired except the pulley bearing which is worth 1500 and still not easily replaceable.

And when you buy a kabli, check if its pulley has no play by moving the pulley in and out and to and fro without rotating it. Then rotate it and observe from above that there is no angular deflection when the pulley is rotating. Also the rotation should be smooth without any noise or vibration. It should be able to move but not too freely and not too hard either.

AC compressor is not a serviceable part anyway. Whoever claims they can repair it is lieing.

Also replace the dryer and condensor for best results because the compressor has already pumped debris into the condensor by the the time its making weird noises.

Hello everybody I have Honda civic exi prosmatic 2006. I purchased it used in 2013. I have been facing problem since its doors do not make a smooth low and dampening sound on closing like a new car doors do. I have washed and cleaned all window glass channels and locks but no improvement. Do someone have any idea how to make the closing doors sound like a new car. I shall be obliged for your kind suggestion please.

Engr sb replace all door rubers window channels with new Honda part then see.

I cant help you with the price of new door rubbers.
But a window rubber channel of one door costed me 700 rupees from Bilal gunj.
Hiwever I will not recommend putting those as they are already used and OLD. They might not make much of a difference.
