I dont think u will get a reasonable civic in this budget, may be an abused one will be available at 6 lacs or so but it will suck more money just to keep it going. so better option would be to look for suzuki Baleno/cultus in this budget.

I have been a silent reader of this thread since months so decided to post mine which i bought in August 2019. Kept 3 7th gen civic before and this is 4th one.

The prosmatic gives really bad fuel avg or so i have heard. Mines a manual so dont know much about the truth

When it comes to driving pleasure prosmatic wins but pick and average wise manual is better. By the way how much you are getting in city ?

I tried driving a friends promatec and when I floored it I didnt like the lag. Driving pleasure is subjective. For me the manual was better. Yeah there is a lot of difference performance wise and fuel wise. I get 12-13 in Islamabad. I havent checked the avg on long but it would be very bad as I hit 160-170 a lot.

One weird thing I noticed was when I was approaching 190 on a decline the car suddenly hesitated. like the power disappeared for a second or so before coming on. It wasnt hitting the rev limiter as the rpm was around 6000 and the rev limiter comes on near 6800 or so. Did the injectors or fuel pump run out of gas or not enough air was getting in? I dont think it was the ECU as these are old cars. Mine is an EXI.

In ther gears like 3 and 4 rpm reaches 6800 or lock at 6000 ?

Yeah it reaches 6800 in all the other gears. I want to get a reborn oriel but the market is these days is absolutely mental. I saw that your cars windows have that plastic part (window k ooper jo hai) that doesnt go all the way to the pillar. Mine goes to the pillar and blocks my view.
Since yours is a VTI I think how is the ABS system?

Hi, I need a little help. I have recently got a Honda Civic 2004 VTI Manual. The issue is that in fifth gear, RPM is on quite higher side as on 120km/h the RPM stands at around 3800 and on 130km/h it goes upto 4000. I believe its on quite higher side considering its a 1590cc engine. As obvious, it seriously harms fuel average. Can anyone help in this regard?

Drive slower or get another car. The 5 speed in 7th gen has higher rpms at 120 but the fuel average isnt that bad. At 100-110 the engine speed is much better.

i think its normal since its manual so its supposed to be on high end at that speed.

Brother those are air press. Mine were broken so thats why they are not on pillars. Whats your budget for Reborn ?

I had kept manual for a year it was an exi. Manual 7th gen gives excellent average in between 90-110kmh

Yes air press!
I can add 2 or 3 laakh rn After selling this but i wont get a clean one in this range. So i am saving up for more. Mine is an exi as well. I wanted an oriel but after searching for a month this was the only car that i liked. The rest were not in good condition.
