Any personal experience with Osram nightbreaker? Are you using them? I cant see the road at night with these normal bulbs..

Less then 20K for the complete EPS assembly with wiring and everything, labor and electrician's charges (who knew what was required to be done for it to be connected properly with the ECU and calibrated it with the appropriate OBD device )
I just put down the khwahish, tracing the EPS units and striking the deal (first one was not in top notch state so was replaced with another one), the qualified electrician and other stuff was arranged by my mechanic.

eps isnt really required if pump is making noises then just replace it with kabli it would last atleast 3-4 years. just make sure u dont turn the steering completely right or left hitting the rack...

I dont know the name of shop rather i no them visually . just go to any part shop their else there is a dedicated mechanic for PS too in that market u may ask for him as whole market knows him.

btw if anybody using 10w 40 grade oil? if so then what brand? m using zic fully synthetic 10w40 (as the pack says) from zic shop satellite town since i bought the car and i am satisfied but people say zic is not a quality oil and all. Kindly suggest me any good oil in 10w40 grade which u have personal experience with.

there is no other quality oil other than LM buddy.

reason is because almost all of the oils are refined in pakistan refineries so yeh they are not top notch.

PARCO, HASCOL, ATTOCK refineries refine the engine oils and different companies pick them up by name of SHELL TOTAL PSO CALTEX ZIC and sell them.

LM comes in gerry can itself, it does not come in barrels either and then poured into cans.

if you goto Liqui Moly Website you will see the address of authorized seller in I-8.

when you get Liqui Moly oil in your car and change the oil filter to Leppon (never use guard or desi filter)
you will experience sudden change of car engine sound and it will be much smoother.

Well was in the same dilema back in 2010-11, changed once and it again started giving issues an year later. Installed a 2000 civic's power steering pump, i think it costed 2k or 2.5k and still going strong since 2013. The pump was recommended by a mechanic and i thank him till date.

Please view the below attached videos i just made of my cars idle.

the car idle stays at 850 but when you rev it and leave the accelarator the rpm rather coming straight back to 900 first hovers between 1100 to 1500 and then gradually comes back to 900.

everything i reach a signal and release the gear and put car in neutral the engine revs to 1.5k then stays static at 1.1k and then gradually comes back to 850 rpm.

i have did the RE-LEARNING idle procedure but it did not help at all.
please help.

Driving the car with this above rpm idle issue is getting hard for me as when i move the gears from 1 to 2 and 3rd it itself revs to 2k and then 1.5k itself i have no control of the accelrator and car is being uncomfortable as sifting gears between dancing rpm get jerky.

i bought this car 1 month back, every single consumable has been changed, Full/complete tunning 3 weeks back was done by honda 3S which included throttle body cleaning, tappets adjustment and the tunning was finished by calibrating the step by step rev learning from a computer.

please advise me how to make the idle stable.

at times, steering has to be completely rotated

u can rotate it any time lol just avoid doing it un necessarily and with car turned off

i am facing the above after driving car very roughly at 5-7k rpm today. just wanted to have a go and clock the quickest 100

did you properly follow the process? i.e no electrical load and remove battery terminal etc

I had exact same issue after throttle body cleaning and even after 3s people resetting with laptop, it did not work. After doing idle re-learn it went away. I read on civic forums that it usually takes one tank of fuel for ecu to fully learn the idle settings

Has your fuel filter even been replaced?

Last night clutch started giving problem. It was drive-able but clutch went too deep. So in the morning i went to aqash, he changed the piston kit of master cylinder and bleed all the clutch oil and poured in new one. The lines and clutch oil was full of rusty gunk from piston spring which was also broken btw. Got nissin brake pads (front) for 2600, he advised not to use nissin or any brand for rear pads and use genuine ones. Coolant level in reservior was a little loo so bought a bottle of oem coolant to top it up. Changed spark plugs (NGK nothing fancy) and air filter as well. Some minor rubber parts.

Total kharcha including labour: 9500

Next up: new tyres, rear brake pads, bushings

I also get him to check why outside air is entering cabin. He checked all basic inlets and found no issue. He said he will have to open blower motor to see in detail so that too is left for next visit.

piston kit is of no use i changed it and things got even worst with in a month in heavy traffic and all clutch gave up completely... towed the car and got whole cylinder replaced.. peace since then

btw were did u got plugs from? and at what price? my plugs r due. .. will go to akash for complete tuning jese he time milay.
+ have u change fuel filter? wats its cost? my car knocks and akash says either its timing or fuel filter.....

fuel filter i guess never replaced, car is on 125k odo.

i removed battery terminal, followed each and every step. then after 10 min idle drove car for good 30km. and also the car tank was on E so topped it up with high octane. :///

still the rpm is dancing.
