I went to discount tyre today.
The tires were of 25th week of 2016 (june i guess).
The tires were in blue wrap and there was nothing michelin related on wrap except a small strip running in the middle with michelin written on it.
No import stamp or warranty card. Compared to Yokohama's wrap, it did not seem very authentic
The tires did had bar code stamped on it (not on wrapping) but i guess wo bhi smuggled men bhi ho sakta hai.
I saw two tyres, both were of mid 2016 date.
They were made in UK
He said it is imported by Zafar Enterprise and you can call them to confirm.
Japan tyre was out of stock but he said same thing that company is not giving 5 year warranty how is he giving.
Japan tyre wala said that discount tyre is giving you smuggled tyres lol he said when i have Michelins, i give company warranty card for genuine imported tyres.
I am confused now... For now i have decided to wait few days more for Japan tyre's lot to come. Now that i have seen discount's Michenlin in detail, i am in better position to compare
