Read the thread after many days since I have sold my ride, anyways my input on the latest discussions happening above:

1. During repairs of transmissions and engines, kabli is mostly recommend due to one simple reason, OEM spares cost a lot and no one is ready to pay that price, the stuff quoted as "original" in our new spares markets is comparatively better then the third rate stuff but still its not first grade. The resultant is that you would never get the feel and performance like that of the original stuff after such repairs, and its not the mechanic's fault.
2. For tyres me and all my friends have been visiting the authorized dealer of continental tires in blue area named khan tyres, the owner misaal khan is a very honest fellow. Didn't need to look anywhere else since a decade
3. About the waxing part, a good friends who is in the detailing business recommended me to use meguirs wash n wax and there would be no requirement of normal waxing, tried and the experience turned out to be pretty good

Performance apart its one hell of a car. its an upgrade and tbh these civics are too old now so newer is always better unless its a suzuki

its semi-synthetic and costs 2400 or 2600 for 4L. If you buy from 100L drum using machine (shell F6 pump) then you pay for exact quantity poured and it is slightly cheaper than buying can

Yes my car is 2005 so its pretty old now and wants kharcha to keep running in top condition. Any idea how much money can it fetch if i sell it? I am first owner btw. There are scratches and dry denting here and there but no major hit and 140k on odo.

I saw few of your posts that you had Power steering oil leak near pump how you fixed?
I got the pipe changed and PS Oil topped up but still i can see the oil leaking. Help

There is a seal/o ring at front side of the pump that might need replacement.

The mechanic also changed that i guess, The rubber at the front of pump right? black color
The oil started leaking after 2 days of getting it fixed.. What do you suggest now

If its replaced, it should not leak. Its hard to get oem o ring only, they sell complete kit (just a way to rip off by local honda). A good thai or taiwanese kit should work as good as oem.

Please tell me the exact seals changed i am really frustrated about this issue. How many seals were changed. What are they called in local zabaan and what is their location. and cost. I need to get this issue fixed asap

Change the O ring located infront of the power pump.
Change the seals of the steering rack (kanghee in local language)
Also check if the feed pipe needs to be changed.

The pipe from pump to the PS bottle? that was changed
I will goto mechanic after Eid and ask him to change seals. Lets see how it goes
Anyways i heard changing seals will make PS hard is it true?

i cant tell for sure because aqash already bought a set for me, i think it was 4 seals total that go inside pump. I dont think rack is leaking because he mentioned dripping on alternator right?
why dont you go to aqash and get it fixed? Mr.Unknown also got PSP leakage fixed from him. yes 100% no leak now

Cant comment on hardness because i did not notice before and after effects
