Thanks for the reply, Is there anything wrong in getting 205 tyres? Will I be facing noise and vibration issues?
If anyone else can comment on the registration issue that would be very helpful too.

I am running 205/65/15 on my civic. Advan db. I just couldn't bear the cycle wala look 195s give when viewed from the back side. No issues at all except the car has very very minute vibration at speeds above 125. Still not sure whether its the upgraded size causing it or incorrect wheel balance. Did the balance twice though. Apart from that, you ll love the look and the drive of 205 advan dbs on civic. Was driving on eurostars before this for 7 months. The difference is huge

I have the previous nav unit. It is fine, infact it's great for me. Does everything perfectly. Never faced any issue. Can't say anything about the new nav. If you can live without the front cam and some other features, you can ask honda to give you the old nav unit. They might still have it in stock. IMO, go for factory nav whether old or new. I always find OEM stuff to be better. But then, thats just my opinion

I have one or two more questions please clear your inbox Yes i will go for the new nav as the the other factory fitted stereo looks hideous. Regarding the tyres I will think about it. I don't like the thin tyres from the back view too.

true about the factory stock player looking hideous. Go for either of the nav units. Choice is yours. And about the tyres, best option will be to mount a 195 tyre one one rim and a 205 tyre on another rim and put them on the back side. Compare and then decide. 195 just wasn't acceptable to me hence i went for 205. They look great to me.

It lags alot, and when you start the car and shift in reverse, camera will display after 38-60 seconds. Who waits a minute to be able to reverse. ofcourse you can easily reverse without the camera, but then why spend so much on reverse camera option at the first place?

Sir does the system lag while playing simple dvd video playback? And about the reverse cam. Does it appear after 38 secs everytime you put the car in R even when the nav system is on or just after turning the car on when the nav system powers on for the first time it takes 38 sec? And Im thinking about the the new nav as its a new thing with the front camera too. Im on high hopes that maybe trakking world will resolve the lag and reverse cam issues very soon?

Yes the front camera will be uselsss if you cant see the front bumper at all. Rest are the navigation maps working smoothly without any lag? By lag do you mean it lags while selecting through different options?

Yes lag is there when switching between different options like navigation, audio, SD card.

Navigation app takes atleast 30 seconds to open. Once navigation is open, there is no lag.

I think these problems are fixable. Anyways I have asked my dealership for the new nav and all I can do is hope for these issues to be resolved. One more thing are there any strange noises in the dashboard or nav system while driving on slightly uneaven roads? Any thing else in the new models that is a disappointment? The old nav was available 10k cheaper but I thought something new would be better. Anyways the new lighting on the new nav is very appealing and suits the interior very well especially the bluish-purple colour. If you have pics of the new nav please share them here. Especially the ones of the video playback, the nav maps and the front and rear camera

Feels like coming from left side of dash. Is there anyway to resolve issue? Is it covered under warranty? Car is Feb-14 and 10K on oddo.

Drove on all sorts of roads in Lahore, no noises from the dash or anywhere else in the car, so no complains there. Yes the light looks really good on the new nav. will see if i can upload pics.

Video playback isnt that impressive, low resolution screen, but i dont know how it was on the previous one, so cant compare.

show it to the dealership, they would definetly figure it out. Btw do check omer's thread of his father's new civic, he showed a specific place in dash where a sound of plastic comes. Go through his thread, he has posted pics too. Check if its in the same area in your car too

Take is asap to the dealership. It should be resolved easily @omer_575 had a similar problem and it was resolved under warranty.

Thats good then. Ive seen the older nav. Its resolution and quality is much much better than corolla dvd players ive been using eg rockmars and delson players. That really impressed me. Yes please do share pics so that i can have a rough idea of the pic quality. Thanks.
