Importing cars from the UK is way too costly, and since you mentioned that the base price is around 17,000 pounds, it ain't worth it.

Its interesting to know about the new technologies in automobiles coming in Pakistan although the hybrid tec is now quite old in other parts of the world. Pls can u clear that since the engine is IMA does the car also run on electric motors without the engine power and for how long. Another thing if it is doing 20km/litre it is not much difference with regular model which is said to be quite efficient on petrol giving a close mileage per litre to that for the one u mentioned. I think it should be more than 20km/litre or otherwise the price difference is not justified. What I remember hearing is it crosses 24km/ltr.

What happens is that when you come to a halt at a traffice signal or are stuck in a traffic jam, the entire power is shifted onto the battery and the motor which shuts off the engine and keeps the elctrical gadgets running such as the Aircon,Tv Nav and all.

As for the average per kilometer is concered, I delibrately wrote its as less then what it gives since some people on Palwheels have a problem of just giving a comment such as, no ways, I don't believe it, and God knows what else. You are right that it gives around 23-24kms per litre.

Many thanks for ur quick answer. Well my one question which still remains to be answered is that can the vehicle run on battery motors solely and how long and with what speed. I am doubtful that what i remember is that it starts on the battery motors and when it gets steady to 30/40 km/hr then its engine starts and it takes on the combustion engine. Other features u mentioned are of course part of it. What I mean when u sell vehicle with special feature with special prize u must make aware the prospective customers of all the features which would attract the buyers. And what about the series of batteries - how long they last and what they cost to replace?

Uptill now Honda has recieved no copmplaints about batteries the world over, that is what I have read on their website.

As far as the mechanics of the car go, my friend, I am not an engineer but rather an importer so I am not aware of all the mechanics, but yes, the car does switch to petrol as I have told in many of my replies that yes, after you go upto 30-40km/hr, the batteries then tend to switch the power onto the engine which makes it run like a normal petrol engine car

Good luck with sales of this car and all buyers please do not worry about maintance it does not requir any more the regular civic. IMA batrey is design to last life of the car.I have been selling this IMA product for last 4 years in US never seen any car with IMA problem.
