i saw cruisetronic for the first time on the road today in color similar to hondas charcoal gray... and it was looking horrible... like an accidented old rolla from behind. there were round red reflectors in back bumper. i saw that its back indicators had ordinary bulbs in them when it turned. but then it braked an there were LED or LED like bulbs for the brake lights....an awful khichriii...rest was okayy. but when i looked at the first honda civic it looked amazing...although m not so fond of its back lights either.

do u plan to install cng in your new car....if so then i dont think that the fuel consumption that cruisetronic tells is of any use to u...neither is cruise control if u dont drive much on highways...and i think cruise control is not of much use on motorway cuz u hav to break speed very often cuz of oder cars.

u can spot many similarities b/w new and old rolla.....unlike new and old civic....obviously the rollas designers didnt put much effort in designing it.

86 corolla a rear wheel drive??? r u sure?? i had a 83 corolla same shape and it was front wheel drive.... in 83 corolla started coming as forward wheel drive.... do some research...
and whatever u say the way it ran and it handled it was better than any car of today...... the consumption too. and ya ours was 8 valve 1.3

COROLLA ROX! wen REBORN came it also saw muich criticism in infact no1 liked n still like its back lights ... n now ALTIS is there! though the shape isnt much much different but they have improved old shape n made it more stable, more drive friendly!
n afterall its a product of TOYOTA so its always safe to buy COROLLA! all knw tht.

so criticism is a part of life! but its also a fact tht the new ALTIS is much much better than old n more drive friendly, more comfy, ! though old altis also gave toughest competition to CIVIC REBORN inspite of ALTIS'S old shape!

Get some imported thing, the local market only serves to disappoint you. Neither of them has got that punch they're practically the same. I really like the looks of the new rolla, so i prefer it over the civic.

Guys, I own a 2005 Surf SSRG 3.4 ltr V6 Twin Cam Sports, a 2006 Vitz & 2001 Honda VTi.
My VTi was the CKD one which Honda Atlas had imported as Japanese parts and assembled in Pakistan. I was one of the 1st buyers of the Prosmatec shape.
I am confused in buying b/w Cruistronic & Civic ReBorn.
I am looking for comfort, luxury & reliability. Ofcourse looks do matter.
Due to recent crime incidents in the city I am not willing to buy a CL9, Mark X or new shape Premio (which I can afford).
I have not driven either Cruistronic or ReBorn.
My experience with the 2001 VTi is extremely good.
A very good, dependable car and very comfortable.
I have driven over the worst of the roads in Karachi but drove over the potholes carefully.
Now I want opinion over which one to buy between Cruistronic Sunroof or Civic Reborn VTI Oriel Prosmatec?
I am tall 6ft 1" with a good physique. In the Toyota Showroom I noticed that Cruistronic was not as spacios as my current Civic or Reborn is.
I have driven old Altis shape Corolla in the USA & the Pakistani one. The Corolla they made here was very stiff and the seats were not comfortable in comparison.
I am not sure whether the Cruisetronic will be the same or not?
I would appreciate Genuine opinions that will help me make the better purchase selection.

dude civic is a v good n comfy drive.. but n admit old civic was better than corolla as far as comfortable is concerned...
n reborn was also better but i will go for ALTIS... its really spacious! no doubt abt it... n as far as its drive its much better than last n no brakes issues... n aboce all its a product of TOYOTA!
i think u can go 4 ALTIS CRUISETRONIC as u can afford....it has cetainly more features n great road grip.

bro one more reason why i will go 4 ALTIS
COROLLA is always reliable n trustworthy... n pakistani roads r 90% bad,, means u cant drive honda there... but take COROLLA wherever u want! means ALTIS is a way ahead of CIVIC with all features n aspects tht civic has n wich civic doesnt have even!
