buying a used honda with immobilizer ask owner to provide both working keys

a snatched honda or one with hankypanky would probably only have 1 key with immobilizer function

There is a solution to this.
Like When I bought my current car.it was second hand. I went to Honda and paid then to check whether there is any other key programmed other tha the two I have and they deleted the third key that I didn't have.

I think all three have chips. The 3rd one is usually a valet key

Bro the problem is that now you can get Transponder keys made from many any XYZ key makers.I myself got it made for My Baleno from Waris Road Lahore for i think around 3000 back in 2013. Luckily while there i witnessed same process for '11 Civic and a Vitz (don't rem which model was that) and before that I went to Suzuki 3S and they quoted me the same story of deleting the lost keys and adding new one at cost of 8000 + some paperwork cost . After getting key made i realized this is all BullS***. It is actually Immobilizer code programmed to blank keys and not Key Code written in ECU's immobilizer unit.

If the fellow is consistent and well informed and well connected, he surely can. My grandfather once bought a car, that turned out to be a stolen one. We returned the car to the rightful owner and applied in court for our refund. After 6 months of proper khuwari, court ordered each fellow from whose hand the car had passed to pay us a certain sum and the actual theif was to pay us 50% of the car's worth. If I am not wrong, we recovered 95% of the amount Alhamdolillah

the car transferred in choor mother name in excise and they also file a suberdari in court and car is still with police...............

My conclusions from this story

1. Verify the car through sms/web/15 before purchase.
2. Car with Immobilizer will give you some peace of mind.
3. Sand blast the car's engine and chasis no. on front and back screen
4. Use a good condition out of market car as its better to loose a few thousands on resale rather than complete loss on theft/snatching etc

couple of years ago i got brand new alto .. stolen near my office Tariq Chowrangi..and i bougth that car just few days ago... after that i was very dis-heart bcz it was my hard money earn by my self my saving.. well after i bought Chevy exclusive 2004 well condition from out side..well recently i build my whole car.. but trust me.. so many time it happent i left my car unlock it happens so many times bcz my security locks were not properly working i did not know that but trust me.. nobody bother to touch my car !!! overall car is good.. good grip..

trust me new model of corolla which worth more then 20 lakh trust me he is not worthy enough for that price.. what does it has only shape?? just shape? features wise the car is pathetic
