Can a Gathers navi system from Vezel (for example) work ok with Fit?

Sir you have 2011 model hybrid which have IMA technology the new fit 2013 onwards have earth dreams technology with direct fule injection aslo honda vezel have the same engine and gear.

Does any here know abt the brake pads for the GP5? I m goin to get brake serviced and i always keep fresh pads incase the old ones turn out to be shot... Are they easily available? Has anyone has had their GP5 brake pads replaced?

Islamabad or Pindi location hints wud be preferred.

I recently got my brakes serviced. Car has done 80000km now. Pads were still good according to 3S guy. So may be next time I'll get them changed. I think availability won't be an issue. Just visit Honda 3S or any reputed workshop and ask them for this part. 3S usually charges 30-35% more in parts compared to open market.

Don't know why but my GP5 in this terrible traffic and heat with AC working overtime, is giving the same average. On isolated runs on Sundays it does go back to the normal 18-22 but normal days rush hour traffic, 13-15 is the unfortunate norm.
Service and oil change due in a week's time and I will get the air filter changed and transmission oil checked as well. Let's see how that helps.

Hi all i have recently bought Honda Fit 2011 GP1 i have few questions

1- where do u get your air filter from ?
2- have you ever gotten the fuel filter changed or cleaned ?
3- which engine oil do u use ?
4- i am having fuel average around 15km/l how to improve it further ?
5- THERE IS A CREAKING/SQUEAKING SOUND CMING FROM BATTERY AREA WHILE DRIVING
HOW TO REMOVE IT ?

If u blast the AC when starting the car and drive the car will use the engine to charge the battery as it will be depleted at almost the same rate as it is being charged... It will turn to EV mode once the battery is substantially charged and u r not putting any burden on the car electronics...

The above applies if u have a GP5...

My 2 cents in this regard are that u shud try to park car under shade or atleast put a cover on the windscreen n leave the windows slightly open... When u start the car do not switch on AC suddenly... Atleast wait for the engine cool light to disappear... Try to use 20 as temp and fan speed at 3 points...

GP5 Air Filters are available in very few places in Karachi. One is charging 5k while a fellow PWer above got it for 3,200.
Does anyone know where I can get one for a reasonable price?
Any please let me know how often one needs to change the cabin filter (AC filter). I am getting that for 8.5k form the same place. I have no real issues with the AC though.

you can google or youtube videos it is very easy to detach your cabin filter, remove it and see if it is still fine or need a change. I believe you can buy locally available cabin filter for much less.

Honda 2S or 3S has AC filter for my GP2 which cost 1400PKR. They can check and replace if required. Air filters need to buy from local market with price range between 1500 to 4000.
