Has Anyone faced engine oil consumption in FIT? My Honda Fit hybrid 2012 ate one liter oil after driven just 1500km, No oil leakage, No smoke in exhaust, just a little black dry carbon in exhaust present. Have tried different brands and different viscosity too from 0w20 to 10w30 but no luck. I have done the dry compression test which is also shos good results.

Hey,
I just bought honda Fit 2013 RS version. At first it was awesome i took it to lahore gave me an average of 24km/l.
After i came back it started to do some issues. after some time it started giving some issues in gear shifting and some bumps while changing gear.

one day it gave me this error

I changed my gear oil/ transmission oil yesterday. i thought that might soolve the issue. one day the drive was smooth.
But today it all happened again.
I also checked the history of the car and it was recalled in 2013 and 2014 and fixed all the issues.

Kindly can anyone help me in this. I am really worried.

common issue in DCT transmissions of Fit and Vezel.

Solved by not creaking forward (or half pressing accelerator) in stop-and-go congested traffic, how do you drive when there is congestion?

I've somehow diagnosed the issue... Its leakage from actuator oil.
Now how to solve that? Any help?

change your actuator fluid. People call it "clutch oil" in Pakistan. look it up on YouTube as "Honda Vezel actuator fluid replacement"

Guys i have honda fit hybrid 2012 been self imported at 70k mileage. At around 80k milage the hmmf error popped up, which i checked online and got to know the gear oil needed to be changed so i got that changed and the error reset.
Now the car is at 117k milage and again the hmmf error popped up. I mean its not even driven 50k and the maintaince error showed up. I checked the gear oil it was just like brand new also the level was ok.

Is it something to be worried about? Should i change the gear oil again? The cars running normal. Usually how much km can a gear oil last. Normal city driving?

Any info on this will be highly appreciated. Tia

According to the service manual of fit 2012 cvt fluid should be changed after rvery 40k kms. Honda fit GP1's computer programmed to display message regarding HMMF transmission fluid at every 40k, these are just the reminder messages not about the health of cvt gears. computer will dispaly 2 to 3 reminder at 1000km interval till 120K mileage. You can simply clear the reminder from electrition. It will not display after 120K then again come near 160K. Normally in pak people dont bother to follow service manual recommandations for specially JDM cars.
