Dear all bikers, India se jab trade khuley gee to kya wo bikes muft de ga.

Aaj India mein dollar kee official qeemat approx Rs55/- hai aur Pakistan mein approx. Rs98/- hai. To jo bike india mein 100 cc 45000/- kee mil rahee hai woh pakistan mein Rs87000/- ke parey gee. Aur agar Indian market khul jayey gee to iss price pe tax laga ker Pakistan ko 100 cc Indian Bike nearly 100,000/- mein parey gee. Baqi rahee baat engine aur body kee to HONDA PRIDOR ya DYL JUNOON abhi bhi sastee bikes hein India k hisab se and like wise quality is same.

Iss liyey Pakistani motorcycle market ko trade khulney se koi khatir khwa farq nahin parey ga.

100% right. the problem with some that when they talk about Indian Re and Pak Re they just remember Re word nothing else they forget the exchange rate. its same problem that when ever a person want to do job abroad while sitting in Pakistan when he came to know the amount of salary either in dollars or pounds or riyal they without any second thought calculate the converstion amount without understand that when you work and live abroad you have to spend in their money rather thn in rupees :). so its opposite but same type of problem.

Or jo India hum ko pagal bana raha hay by so called trade main or jo hum khod banana chatay hain woo hum sub ko lag pata jaye ga. when we give them MFN.

Even if their bike could be cheap (which will not be as Racer7 said) we should promote our own industry, we should focus not to import other's country's bike rather we should pressurized our industry to mend it ways just like Thread of PW. (now some people will debt that yahan kay kisi ki nahi suni jati, but solution would only to have good producing industries of Pakistan, which gurantee for our development).

our cement Industry is trying best to get into the market of india but due to many restrictions they are not let us into the business. woo tu aqal say kaam lay rahay hain to secure their industry its we who are getting mad for some petty items of india only because they are cheap.

It would be the biggest F-up by our govt as their economy is too much big now and they can afford to make cheap like China we have small economy and we cant afford to make such cheap things along with many other factors. Till it will be no restricted policy of import then country like Pakistan having small economy will be vanished. its just like that today every country is crying because of china made items as no one can afford to make things at such low price which china can.

So for us matter should not be only to ride chamakti damakti bikes we should think broadly and on long term basis.

aman ki asha say hum hi jal kay khatum hon gaye. they will not be effected.

I agree with your one point, that if any country needs progress, it should develop its own products. But you cannot pressurize the industry, instead you could develop talents, concentrate on growth of supporting industry like Iron-ore, Plastic, Energy & Transport, both these factor will reduce production cost, and it will create an opportunity for Bike industry to invest more in R&D. (These factors also liable for other firms).

Second Point- Cement Industry, India rank second after China for cement production and export, although China is distantly ahead of India in term of production, so I doubt that Pakistan firms will have any chance in competition.

Goodnews, My friend Riyan, work for Honda. He told me they are doing research for high CC bike with low maintenance for Pakistan youths, he told me Pakistan is more about after sales service and maintenance. They are launching a bike with technology & looks is very similar to Peugeot XPS, and the project is very similar to Hero Impulse of India. Pakistan is yet not ready 250 CC, as it cost goes high around 1.6 Lac, this bike will be around 120 CC and affordable. Bike has high shockupsers, and well griped tyre. The major problem Atlas Honda face in Pakistan is import of technology, unlike India & SriLanka, most of spare parts and technology had to be import from countries, and most of them are from China. It take 60 days to import spare parts from China via Sea Route and cost goes higher and higher. But Atlast Honda predicts change in next decade till 2020. Bike will be launch very soon, in 2013, as Ravi Motors, the local motor firm also give them high competition, this project will help Atlast Honda to maintain top position.

As per very reliable info I got, Honda is surely bringing 150cc model pretty soon and perhaps even bigger models later. But to the extent of 150cc things are pretty sure now.

mayray sweet say bhai, regarding cement thing there are different reasons that they are entering, if you will search you will know. what do you think if our biggest cement producer is trying to set up in India tu kaya woo pagal hian kay without study they will put their money at stake, koi na koi tu opportunity mil rahi ho gi.

in my opinion very difficult, ravi is still strugling with its piaggio storm 125, improving the spare parts and after sales service in different cities for piaggio 125, that would be a very big achievement if done, launching a 150 cc is far far far far far ahead.................................................
