Honda Pridor 100 Model 2013

Dear Brother,
This fault is from the day 1 April 2005 when AHL launched CD100, i changed two, but the Same KATAK, how ever I manage to resolve the issue, but from a local but extreme engineer in Peshawar, who opened the whole assembly and he altered the gears. Now I have 2011 model and its ok.
But another BIG BIG issue is the JHANKAAR sound (from timing chain) comes out badly from the engine when you travel for 30 minutes, when the engine goes more heated, a bad chan chan comes out, and its really really an ugly sound. AHL refuse to correct, they saying this is normal. I ahve a lot of more about this Bike, but after all i love the shape and suspension. Engine wise,,, its low standard,,,Main chain cover looking like an iron sheet as low as local, Dear All , I am here to argue for all brothers.

but results are so shocking i even myself want to confirm this one more time :)

I'm expecting that... I think Honda wants to stop 70 now, nd it would be a good idea.
If they offer same milage of 70 in a 100cc it would be an instant hit I.A.

Amjabd bhai, I am in a process of check this and will update you all fiendz in a couple of days. However I have earlier shared my experience that I got the average of 65Km/Litre on 40Km/hr to 50Km/hr speed but your experience has now rich and lets see in a couple of days, whats the result of my PRIDOR.

Brother Faisal, first of all I would like to CONGRATULATE you for getting HONDA PRIDOR. Its an awesome bike.

Actually mere bike ne abhi 520 running complete ke hai, jab k mein ne sirf one oil change kiya hai 483Kms per jo k 500Km per due tha. Na to mein ne tunning kerwaee hai, na chain tight kerwaya hai aur na he clutch adjust kerwaya hai. Matlab k sirf Oil change kerwaya hai HONDA Authorised dealer se. Aur chain ko Gear Oil lagaya hai jaisa k user manual mein likha huwa hai. Merey khayal mein agar aap ne bike 40-50Km/hr ke speed tak chalayee hai to phir apko tuning ke zaroorat nahin rehtee. Aur agar aap ne bike ko khoob bhgaya hai to phir aap ko adjustment kerwanee parey gee. Aur agar adjustment zaroori hai to aap sirf HONDA authorised dealer se he kerwaein aur User Manual mein iss ke entry bhi kerwaein stamp k saath kyon k apki bike warranty mein hai.

Rahee baat engine se tik tik ke awaz aney ke to yeh genuine he awaz ati hai iss mein preshan honey ke koi zaroorat nahin. New bike k liyey aap HONDA USER MANUAL study karein aur uss k mutabiq he chalein.

Amjad bahi, 200 ka fill karwaya tha last time ... after running 110 km ... 200 ka mazeed fill karwa lia ... chalaen ab dekhon ga yae petrol end kab hota hae ... to get the reading ... then i'll share it, inshaAllah

So Friends I again checked the fuel average of Pridor in same way
I took the bottle filled with 1-lt Patrol from Shell pump
Drove the bike same way speed around 45-50km/h
and tried not to engage clutch alot This time got the average of 72km/lt with choke
I was driving bike on straight road & this time wind was in opposite direction
if you engage clutch than patrol average falls down to 50-55km/lt
And in one attempt i got the average of 60km/lt now that was mix up driving
drove some km's on highway at high speed,low speed & than also drove
some km's in city also

& racer bro i was thinking to change first on 200km
but upon honda ustaad recommendation i changed it on 120km
he saw the km reading and said sir change karlo abhi

Old Cd100 also did 80km/ltr + milage in competitions... but the point is we want to know the actual milage! Drive it with if not full then at least some heavy throttle, brake and slow down and then accelerate hard again. Just what happens in a busy urban city, ur in a hurry to get somewhere you rev hard but next moment u brake, slow and again accelerate... then tell the true and practical mileage!
Ye highway milage is a pretty useless thing for most of the riders, as 90% bikes are used in city not inter city.

In this way even my Yamaha junoon might give 60-65kmpl easily? But in real its way low than that. Approx somewhere btw 35-40 with full. Aggressive throttle.
(Sorry I have a bad habit of leaving just a few minutes before my uni class so I usually end up driving harsh lol)

I remember while running my junoon also gave me very idealistic figure of mileage and I could not believe that. Later I myself tried to be logical and added margin of error to ir

thats why i was driving bike slowly but that number was huge for me
Baaqi yes i agree its not possible to achieve this in normal or daily driving
in city or out of city on straight road because obviously you will be driving @ higher speed
and bro i have mentioned it drinks when you engage clutch Or drive @ higher speed
i have given just a idea of Pridor mileage in some conditions I faced & have driven bike
I am not expert bro just sharing my experience regarding its economy

2nd Gear Katak Sound Issue
As I purchased Pridor, On 2nd day i did realize
that second gear is making unpleasant little higher Katak sound
when shifting as compare to other gears but i thought this is nothing to worry
this must be due to clutch settings but as another
p.w Pridor owner faced same issue with his Pridor
Than i went to Honda mechanic and he adjusted the clutch setting
despite that it was producing this sound Finally in the end,
Mechanic also said this seems a minor factory problem this would produce this sound.

It should not be producing this higher katak sound
It is really shameful for AHl launching bike with flaw
Now this flaw is not very serious but despite this should not be there
In similar way AHl had launched some CG models with very annoying knocking & khee sound issues
Pridor issue does not look to me very serious, Because as you get use to clutch of pridor
than you won't be having any issue in shifting from 1st to 2nd
You won't listen any higher Katak sound, You will be shifting gear very smoothly
So don't be discourage if you are Pridor owner within some days
You will over come this issue as i have, gladly i am now having no trouble in shifting

loose chain might be the reason.

The FUEL AVERAGE of PRIDOR, I have calculated it at the average speed of 40-50km/hr:

I got filled Fuel of Rs.500/- i.e. 4.8444 Litres
I noted the reading on oddo meter of Pridor that was 245.
Today morning it got reserved at oddo meter reading 614.6.

It means 614.6-245 = 369.4

Now we calculate the average by 369.4/4.8444 = 76.25

Its a very good average from a 100cc bike.

So the average of the Pridor of brother Amjad was also correct.

O meray bhai..Pridor ki engine capacity 0.75L hai yar..AHL ka 0.75L oil pack id made for pridor/cd-100..0.75L say har giz mat ziada oil paio.

I have been reading yours and Khanthegr8 threads since 2 weeks bcoz i am seriously thinking about purchasing a bike. I was very confused regarding the choice of bikes as there is hell lot of competition. Finally i have decided to go for PRIDOR. My only question is that i will have to ride for over 60km+ on daily basis. Could you tell me if its a better choice or should i go for 125 or 70 ?? and whats the fuel consumption ????
