Brothers when will yamha be launched in pakistan because i was going to buy a bke but i stopped after u peoples told me that yamaha is going to be launced.I saw yamaha VBR125 and it was just awesome and our AHL is now just awful.

Bro just wait even if Yamaha Late its launch. YBR series is world wide proven, you can check with Google, and on the other hand no existance of CD70, CG125, Pridor in any part of the world, you should go for Yamaha or atleast after check Yamaha then go to any of your choice, ye na ho k baad mai pachtawa reh jaye

i bought new pridor in march and the gear shifting kattak sound is very annoying

pridor is good bike but there are some issues in it worst proved for me was too soft
rear suspension 2nd gear khattak sound also frustrated me but you can get rid of this
if you shift to 2nd gear quicker at speed like 10km/h

and i also recommend change rear hub rubbers with chinese rubbers which are hard
this will also some what improve gear shift to 2nd gear

2nd gear khatak noise is PAIDAISHI MASLA of pridor. Dont know why they dont fix it in new models

It can not be fixed by AHL cause is too many changes are required in engine to fix this problem

a.o.a guys..... i own cd100 2009 model i kept it with great care but today something extremely wired happened to it the part of the engine on whom engine no is mentioned... is cracked from inside the conecting rod loses the balance then cracked the other side of the engine as well :(.... now my mechanic is advising me to sell it away but i want to keep it... please help me if i can buy a brand new cd100 engine or get it swaped with any other engine :(... waiting for your quick reply as my bike is standing in a workshop and i'm still indecisive whether to sale it or get it fixed with new engine

might be just crankcase is broken.. its a 3 piece item.. it can be replaced ..
hope rest of the engine parts are not affected/..

what was the estimate prepared by mechanic for its repair ?
do you have a list of parts and their prices that needs to be replaced ? please share those..

also post snaps of the broken items.. how it happened ?

thank you for your reply... right now i don't have any pics with me but i will provide it tomorrow.... the mechanic is charging me about 15k's for the whole engine to repair it with genuine honda spares... but at the same time he is saying that i will not guarantee that it will work perfect..... timig chain also did a great damage to the head and valves along with rocker arm is broken and he was also saying that clutch box i guess he said is also cracked... is there any way that i can buy engine from atlas honda ????????

mechanic is honda authorized dealer.... when the bike stopped moving i drag it to that mechanic and asked him to repair it and i left it there went to my uni .... the engine was giving a very bad smell like burning oil... well, when i came back to get it back the mechanic told me the whole story and then show me the different parts that were cracked.... im not very good in engine things... but the engine was damaged badly.... first he was saying k its irreparable but then he said i will repair it but no grantee.... he was advising me to either swap a new engine or sale it like this ...

frankly I would never ever repair an engine which has been damaged to this extent.. its a "Tottalled" engine... and would need same amount of funds as in which you can get a slightly used but in a pure health condition from bilal-ganj.

I would even replace it with a Honda Cub (Europian) CD110 engine and enjoy more power.

Mechnic is right when a Broken connecting Rod takes a revolution inside the crank case breaching it not only the case is damaged but the damage is taken by the whole set of screws which assemble the engine ... its useless to spend time on it now.

wesay tu 5~6k ka mil jata hai 110~125cc horizontal engine, but Good healthy one with complete kit and assembly might be found some where arounf 10~12k.

By the way can you tell how did it happen? Was the oil not changed on time or do you drag on high speed? Whatever the case i have never seen an engine literally totalled like you mentioned. 125 maybe but CD-100?

@patrolvtc go for a 125cc horizontal engine CD100 chassis can take this increased power without issue. it would be like riding a new bike.
