It is very late response but I researched a little bit and in my opinion you can install fuel gauge for Pridor without needing to change the fuel tank. I have not tested it but I think it is doable.
There are two methods for doing this:
1. Installing a Mechanical Gauge:
A fluid pressure gauge if is inserted in thy way of fuel going into corroborator and mention the pressure. And intensity of this pressure can tell the amount of fuel in the tank.

The problem i see in this method is that if we take a long pipe extension till the main dashboard meter of the bike the oil level will change so as the pressure. So, if we need a display at the dashboard we need some digital conversion of pressure signal and then display this signle and fuel level on dashboard.
2. Detection of Patrol pressure and indicating it as Digital fuel display:
In the same way as above we need to cut the supply pipe from tank to carborator and install a T and new end will be installed with digital sensor of patrol pressure and we need to use a digital display of current patrol pressure that can be used as amount of fuel in the tank.
