It is very much needed , our environment is very different than Japan .
I met a gentleman who had driven his Honda Vezel 200k plus on original transmission and he said I always change actuator fluid every 10,000 km , its just DOT 4 brake fluid and very minimal quantity is used and the same bottle can be used multiple times.
I did all this research when I had bought a 2018 Vezel RS fresh import car just 18kdriven , and I had its actuator fluid changed right after import just for peace of mind ,I sold that car not a month later due to super hard and uncomfortable suspension
