You should use ATF DW-1 as it is mentioned on the gear oil cap placed under the air intake of Honda Vezel.

I have never driven Honda fit, don't know of any issues with it. Maybe somone who owns Honda fit can better help you.

Salams! I have found a number of User manuals for Vezel on Net. all are in English but these r meant for RU2 and RU1 models means not for Hybrid versions RU3. although most of the features are same but some important functions incl settings are missing. i found one for RU3 but this one is in Japanese language. Any expert has link for for english version of User Manual for Vezel Hybrid?

Done 34,000 km. Have gotten the transmission overheat warning a few times when I have driven on the motorway at speeds of 140+ km/h (in summers and winters both) which I feel really shouldnt happen.

There was massive recall from Honda Japan in 2015 or 2016 to fix vezels transmission issues... There was a software patch which resolved the problem...

Do following if your vehicle is imported & cleared before June 2015.
1. Ask a dealership to do correspondence with Honda Japan and download the latest software patch from them and install to update your vezel.

If your vehicle is imported after July 2015 then
2. Get your transmission oil level checked, if its ok and full.. Then take the battery terminals off for more than 2 hours.. Reconnect & hopefully the system will reset and the bug will go away and yout problem solved.
Don't worry btw have you tried 140+ on sports mode also?

Yes its there as both cars have same engine.
