can you update me on the difference between Z and RS in terms of drive and comfort? how much more stiff is RS as compared to Z?

RS has a sportier suspension setup and larger wheels with lower profile tyres, which makes it quite stiffer than a Z. If you're interested in having a comfortable and soft ride go for a Z or Honda Sensing X. I have driven an X back to back with a Z and overall the X is the most comfortable riding Vezel out of all the variants

that's ridiculous, all you need to do is change your actuator fluid on time and the car is fine, if this was the case my car wouldn't be able to travel 6 hours from Islamabad to Lahore, yet it always manages to mileage 160,000

Could anybody who has driven both Civic X and Vezel advise which car is overall better in terms of market value, reliability, comfort, practicality in Pakistani conditions (extra wheel, suspension, etc.)

Decision is to be made between Vezel 2016/17 vs Civic 2021

I have both.

Vezel is a totally different vehicle than civic.
Test drive Vezel first because its not everyone's cup of tea. Vezel has stiff suspenion, hybrid drivetrain; its really fast but it isnt as smooth as toyota hybrid system as it gives a bit of jerk at low speed, Vezel is complex due to its DCT system so get Vezel only fresh import so that it doesn't require any work. On the flip side, Vezel is feature rich; 8 airbags, heated seats, Honda sensing, dual zone climate, auto dimming mirror etc and is really powerful and fun (due to DCT) and gives good fuel economy.

Civic X is a simple car that doesn't require any complexity. It has one of the best driving positions and handling but oriel lacks acceleration, fuel economy and features as compared to Vezel. Civic X also has poor build quality and durability (Steering rack and Ac issues).

Both have good resale; Vezel maybe known for its gearbox issues but still sells easily.

It really depends on what you want... if you really want fuel economy, power and features than vezel or else if you want zero meter peace of mind option, a sedan and care about handling than civic x.

In hilly areas Vezel is amazing. The response is excellent. The car literally never struggles climbing elevated roads or off-roading areas.
The combined power of engine and electric motor is joy in hilly areas.

Hi everyone,

I have a 2016 Honda Vezel RS that I have been driving for a couple of months now. I am really struggling with the fuel average. My car is only giving me around 9-10km/l. Please Help!! . Also my acceleration seems to lag when I press the throttle, It takes my car 2-3 seconds to accelerate after I fully press the throttle. Is that an issue that is common with all vezels or is it just mine. If so, what can I do to fix it?

i think you have made separate thread for this.Check that for replies.
Lag is part if DCT setup, let me explain.
A) if you are accelerating slowly from signal and you floor the throttle it will respond immediately.
B)However If you are accelerating slowly from signal and take your foot off the accelerator and then floor the throttle it will be a delayed response.
Why;
In example A) we presume you were in gear 3 when you floored. You get immediate response because the transmission computer had noted that you are accelerating and hence had selected gear 4 on 2nd clutch so you get instant response.
In example B) when you lifted your foot of the accelerator the transmission computer noted that you are decelerating so it selected 2nd gear on 2nd clutch. Now when you floor the computer notes change in your pattern and has to reselect new gear for you which results in a lag.

If i'm not wrong doesn't the RS also have a CVT instead of the Z's DCT

All the Vezels with ru3 and ru4 chassis codes have DCT transmission.
This includes G,X,XL,Z and RS.
The cars with ru1 and ru2 have cvt.That includes all the varients which have ru1 and ru2

Salam, just read your post, so transmission / gear oil change at 160k and dct actuator dot4 fluid at 3very 10000km, right?
And from where do you get your actuator dct dot 4 fluid change. I also live in Doctors town near PWD road

Is it available in Honda brand or any reputable brand will suffice?
