Same is the case with me i have been driving vezel for more than 10 months and i hear this noise clearly when the car is on batteries.
At first i was also concerned about this noise so i asked some of my friends about their vezels and fits and all of them told me that this noise is also present in their cars

A.o.A , I wanted to know is vezel hybrid same as toyota prius hybrid?? I mean is it the same technology or is it different as is the case with honda fit shuttle.

Toyotas hybrid system is very different, the previous model Vezel used i-dcd which is hondas dual clutch hybrid system and now they use i-mmd which is a dual motor system with a cvt, but in general Toyotas hybrid system is much more refined

Yes, it can be done without damaging the airbag. All you have to do is to visit some expert electrician who knows what he's doing.

Just want to ask which is top of the line Vezel hybrid model that has all the features?

also, can anybody tell me why vezel price is varying that much? I mean some people selling Vezel in 4.2 million while others selling the same model in 5 million while the one which is costly has higher mileage?

and if someone is selling 2018 model fresh import it cost 4.7 million while the same model has been imported by some one selling it for 5.2 million

I am kind of confused to understand this.

Z is the most loaded variant, RS is sportier looking variant with near enough the same options, however you can't buy that in AWD which is the one option Z has over it

Any idea about price bracket? 2017 to 2019 model? someone is selling around 5.2 and some are selling 5.8 and some are selling 4.5 million. Which is the correct price?

One more question about Vezel how to find out the variant by looking the car? any specific info I should be looking at to find out that this one is Z or X etc?

It depends upon Condition whether if accidented (R/RA grade) or 5 Grade excellent condition car. Just verify the auction sheet and get a detailed report from somr japanese auction websites by searching the chassis code of the car. Personally, I would prefer Sportage FWD instead of Vezel, I can compromise the fuel economy but peace of mind and reliability is most important.

In Vezels, I've noticed that X Vezels have the 15/16 inch alloy wheels and Z has the hyper finish diamond cut bigger rims with body coloured side fender flare type things. RS Vezel has a bodykit (very hard to notice) and bigger rims with another design. 2017/2018 Vezels received a facelift with the new LED headlights like Civic X design.

As far as I know sportage or any new car facing issues in maintenance term. I mean parts availability etc as compared to Vezel

Yes, I've heard from some owner's that brake is a bit weak but not anything serious enough for a recall. Reliability and prace of mind as in the local Crossovers atleast have company support for maintenance especially Kia and there haven't been any serious complaints regarding the car like Vezels transmission issue. In addition, one doesn't know the history of the car when buying an imported car unless you properly go through it because these dealers are hiding alot of secrets while this won't be the case with a brand new car.

Let me put it from another prospective, Vezel has one of the best transmission in the world. You have to drive it to understand.

All DCT have only one issue (including German, Korean and Chinese) transmission heating up leading to actuator bearing failure. Frankly that is also due to the driving style. Its altogether different transmission and not to be driven like ordinary automatic. Even the manual transmission have clutch failure if you keep your foot on the clutch.

Vezel is one of the best vehicle around with excellent fuel saving. Economical spares.

Furthermore fuel economy is one factor you cannot overlook, ask any MG owner.

I know that DCT is the best out there but the repair or replacement is extremely expensive for some and 90% do not know how to drive a DCT equipped car. I've heard numerous complaints about the gear failing due to overheating as actuator fluid has been to be continiously topped up and needs a check after every once in a while unlike rock solid conventional automatics.
MG HS consumes way too much fuel and that too high octane, I don't trust them till now and needs some times to make sure that engine or transmission don't have any issues after 3-4 years.
Another aspect is finding a good condition Vezel as dealers here don't even know what they're selling and potential buyers also don't know what they're buying. Making fake 4-5 grade auction sheets and chamak polish compounded imported cars are an easy way to please the average joe (Pakistani ofcourse).
