It was The 2nd Oil Change Today; of Vezel 19 model, 40K on ODO.
Changed Oil , Air n Cabin Filters all.
Isb is hell dusty these days, u know when u go for routine maintenance of your car.
Air intake and filter was clogged.

Poured Kendall 0w20, have been using this Oil since long, good results; Drain interval 10k.
Its a product of Phillips 66 Inc. USA. Blended n packed in USA.

Actuator Fluid was also replaced today @ 40k kms. First replacement ever. Next Replacement @ 50k kms.

Guy was insisting not to change so early. But i forced the change.
Had a weird encounter, as i was expecting the Fluid to be clean; "while sucking the oil via syringe, A white sludge was present at the bottom of the container "

Anyways; the residue was mix n taken out maximum as it could be.
After that finally, Amsoil Dot4 was poured approx around
150-200mL.

I wonder if the same white sludge and residue will be there in all of the Clutch System.
If it is there ; GOD forbid for any fault.
Anyone else faced same while Actuator Fluid replacement ??
*Is this white sludge common ? ??
Is this because of the moisture ??*
How to fully drain this Actuator Fluid ??
FYI; Car is in Pakistan since the last 8 Months or so.

Vezel is imported via sea. Then at karachi port, it stays for a month or so for duty clearence. The Dot 4 oil tends to absorb moisture and after some percentage makes the white residue. That is why. As soon as u receive the vezel u shud change the dit 4 oil. The mechannics will always misguide u not to change the dot 4 oil as they think its a difficult job. I change my dot 4 myself and its a 30 minutes job. Next time, take a soft clith and clean this residue

Its good that you persisted to change early for some reason our actuator fluid in pakistan tends to require a quicker change which I suppose is because of our climate. When I used to change mine at 15k I usually experienced clutch slippage as I got past 10k so from then on it was always changed at 10k

Proof that the maintenance goes a long way, the car is currently around 240k (photo is from march) still on the original gearbox. Due to some negligence the new owner left the actuator fluid in for about 40k and the clutches had to be replaced, in this case he had them repaired. at about this mileage dual clutches are usually replaced though so still pretty impressed with how it's holding up

what about the time frame for actuator fluid besides KM? I mean if the year has passed but the car does not reach to 10k Km. One should still change the fluid.? Like we change the engine oil if six months have passed by

Same question for transmission oil as well.

I would usually do it after 4-5 months maybe 6 but definitely as soon as summer starts because you need new fluid when the heat kicks in as its the heat that the gearbox doesn't like

yes, I'm not sure if its very necessary but the fluid does get deteriorated very quickly, or atleast the one I used did (Seiken DOT4).
Prevention is better than cure. It's just a precautionary measure to avoid replacing the transmission

Honda vezel Z sensing RU3

Recently drained transmission oil fully from the drain plug. The total quantity of fluid drained was 1.6L
Then I opened the level plug and slowly added transmission oil in the fill plug till the level plug started to slowly overflow. the total liquid poured was 2L . Some people suggest pouring in only 1.3L . Input of all senior members is required . Should I drain it again and add only 1.3L this time ?

Since your post is bit old but just for sharing knowledge, Vezel till 2018 (old shape & chassis no started from 10/11/12) white color code is NH788P and after 2018 (New headlights & Chassis no started from 13/14) uses NH883P.
Color code is written on chassis plate.

As Salam u Alaikum everyone, i have 2016 Vezel and have noticed a weird noice coming out of the engine bay, as shown in the video, a noice can be heard whenever the vehicle is charging the batter and engine is on and i start to move it a bit only makes the sound at the bit point for the locks of it, and the engine has way too much movement can anyone please help me understand what's happening, BTW drive is still smooth and whenever car is on ev mode no sound is coming from the engine bay.
