Honda is way better than Toyota-i completely agree with cylestyne here.
Who said Honda cant compare to Lexus' Ls- series? Acura's RL is way superior with given regard of the price (RL is abt 55k USD, Lexus is 70k).
Honda has a lot to offer including its Civic, Accord, Insight, Odyssey, CrV, Element, Pilot, City, Fit & S2000. And then Acuras lineup TL, TSX, RL, NSX, MDX, RDX & RSX . Of course, Toyota & Lexus have a larger line up, but what value is that if all the products are merely pathetic whence compared to their counterparts?
Honda is the sportier class designed for younger people; Toyota may be more suitable for you if you want luxury and are 80 years old...! Same with BMW & Mercedes where BMW is the ultimate driving machine (young) and MB is the ultimate living room on the road (senior citizens). MB offers more legroom, massaging seats, softer leather & overall more comfort. But in terms of driving pleasure & performance, BMW is unmatched to its inferior counterpart(s).
In short, Honda has the upper hand in performance, safety, handling, technology, convenience & reliability. However, Toyota does tend to sell more in the world, so obviously people like TMC more however Honda's world share is increasing faster than Toyotas is. Rock on Honda!
