Brother first of all many congrats getting married, To make a relationship healthy you need to spend some quality time with your spouse and I think you must go on a relaxing tour.
Don't just focus on Gilgit as it will be exhausting and expensive in your budget and don't delay your trip as mentioned above a good 5 -10 days trip lets you understand each other.
I have lived in Murree for almost half of my life so i think i can better guide you how can you enjoy a luxury trip in a limited budget, Believe me I have already done it in almost same budget.

• Start your journey from Karachi with the name of ALLAH and blessing of your parents.
• Book a train ticket preferably through Pak Railway application and get a lower Ac ticket of Shalimar Express from Karachi to Faisalabad
• Bus stop at Faisalabad is just opposite of Railway Station and you can go there by foot no need of rickshaw taxi.
• Get a Bus from there to Islamabad (You will enjoy all salt range)
• From Islamabad (Faizabad) Faisal movers luxury coaches can take you to murree.
• Stay i a good hotel and enjoy Mall Road / Kashmir Point / Pindi Point for a day or two.
• Hire a Taxi from Murree to ayubia -> Nathia Gali -> Mushkpori -> Abshar, can be done all in a single day.
• Hire a Taxi from Murree to Upper Topa -> Patiata chair lift enjoy the Kashmir view and chair lifts there.
• From here you can go to MuzaffarAbad if time and money allows or you can come down to Islamabad
• In Islamabad stay anywhere in Rawalpindi (Will cost less), Hire a Taxi for a day to visit ShakarParian / Daman e Koh and finally have a lovely dinner at Monal.
• Get Kainat Travel / Faisal Movers bus if you want to have a bus journey OR get a good train to get back to Karachi.

This price table is almost latest, I live in Karachi but i do visit my home town quite frequently. Taxi fares are subject to your negotiation skills.
I remember once returning from my college with 3 to 4 friends, one foreigner was standing near a taxi and he stopped us and inquired (In English) about how far is mall road from here (Lari ada Murree)? and we told him its on walking distance.
Taxi wala was asking for 1000 PKR, We told him (Foreigner) not to pay more than 200 PKR and the taxi wala literally started abusing us
I negotiate in local language which gives me extra advantage. One golden rule don't act shy be confident and if some one is asking 800 for taxi give him an offer of 300 and you will get it in 400-500. Act like you are the poorest creature on earth if you are fond of showing off, They will rip you off.

Honeymoon planning is on one side rightnow since the main problem in my way is the restriction of public gathering (i.e. shahdi event) by the government.
Now main problem is when our shahdi will take place and today my parents and inlaws will discuss this and we will have something final!

The scene is kai my in-laws are not agree with the decisison of simple ruksati and event is getting delay till April or June. If on 27 the government annouces to take the decision back of closing shahdi hall then will get married in April else the event get delay to June!

check from your parents & in-laws for the possibility of approval. place is available and my offer stands only if Bhatti saheb says so.

i can provide you place free of charge with covered clean sitting arrangement for approx 60 people.
for more you need to ask your party managers. you shall check from your catering company for providing wedding party arrangement.

it has boundary wall and secure, i can request for police escort to & from the place. ( for which you only need to provide food to both mobile staff )

It will be a plain Nikkah in Masjid, Ruksati same day... Valima at my house, for just 20 people
