Honeymoon Trip: Murree, Nathiagali, Naran, Kaghan -- Help Required

Thanks a lot for your input, brother. We plan to visit places, however don't want to over travel or something, we have 5-6 days in hand, starting from Abbottabad and would like to utilize it the way the we visit some of the best possible places without being traveling all the time.

So in short we could just visit Murree, Abbottabad, Nathiagali & Shogran, if that could be covered in these 5-6 days. Our objective, as many other honeymoon couples, is to spend quality time with each other, instead of rushing to cover all the places

I will definitely contact the above mentioned people for their input too.

AoA Travelers,

I am planning a honeymoon trip in Nov second week to Murree, Nathiagali, Naran, Kaghan and need some help from people who have recently been there. I have 3 questions on which I would appreciate your input.

My travel plan is as follows:

? Travel from Abbottabad to Murree (Day 1)
Places to visit in Murree (Patriata, new murree (chair lift), Mall Road, Kashmir point, Pindi point (chair lift)

? Travel from Murree to Nathiagali (Day 2, day tour)
Places to visit is Nathiagali ( Ayubia (chairlift, ayubia national park), Thandiani)

Stay in a hotel in Murree for day 1 & 2.

? Travel from Murree to Kaghan (Day 3)
Places to visit in Kaghan (Naran, Shogran, Saif-ul-muluk, Siri/paye, Lalazar

Stay in any hotel in Shogran for 2 days and cover all of these places.

Questions:

1: Is this plan good to go as far as places to visit is concerned? Any input/suggestions?

2: Should I travel by Rent-a-car or Public transport? If Rent-a-car whats the best place to get one & how much would they charge for this trip?

3: Suggest hotels where I could stay, my budget is 2000 - 2500 per night.

as alwayz i wud suggest against Muree... its bloody useless there......

its better u go to naran or swat side....
in november u have better options in Swat... naran may tu sb places band ho gain hain and u cant go to babusar top even.....

swat may u can go to whitepalce hotel in marghazar, malam jaba and uptill kalam ...............

if u can increase ur budget i wud higly recomed hunza for honeymoon destination...........

no its a true family spot... baltit fort altit fort. gojal atabad lake and hoper nagar etc eagles nest... u name them..... u can even have a short trek to Ultar ............

This is 100% correct... niazi offer very Good transportation services now daewoo too and TDCP also offers and the offer hotelling too ... you can check on that buddy

I went with my better half using there services.. it was awesome.. and no botheration of driving just enjoy good time with you new Life ... and partner.

Plan is very good.

Well if you are planning to have a car with driver it will be costly for you better to conatct any of the travel company to arraange in for you that will cost you less.

In november Naran Kaghan possible in 1500 to 2500 room rent and same in Murre available just need negotiations

I would like to add for food first ask for price then order never give order without knowing the price els they will charge you double.

Beware of beggars of murree. They can ruin your trip.
Especially oldmen with white beards (local persons). They will not let you go unless you give them some money.
Well trained beggar children (pathans) can also cause trouble by following you everywhere.
Lastly, the beggar children (local) beneath chairlift in patriata. They pray for you when u pass near them but they will abuse if u dont throw money.
Thats ridiculous. Govt should take action against them.

100% agreed, they even abuse you if you give money to one but not to a crowd of other who instantly come up spotting you ... I was very much concerned specially in patriata and ayubia ...

what I adopted was a strong Agreesive stare if some begger tries to block us, and to ignore like we are Deaf and Blind... I really dont understand instead of working why the begg, and secondly where are there parents..

I would suggest take your own brand new air bed along, in that budget you will find noisy beds with stinky pillows full of oil
