I'm a newb into engine prices. want to know the price of a stock 16 valve 4A-GE without ECU and sensors.

So let's start the discussion again by owners sharing their experience about this motor. And pictures too.. I have a Blacktop motor and a car to stuff it in too, but It's a big project for me right now and I need to take out time for it.

Acquired the engine for a good price last year. It's a good clean engine, got the correct MT ECU thanks to a good friend and mentor.

PS: how much did it cost you a Blacktop 4A-GE? (only the motor without the ECU)

I did a whole lot of research when I was buying the motor, I even have a fabricator who is willing to work on the swap.

I only bought a motor as the transmission mated to it was for a FWD layout, excluding the transmission I got it for 55,000 Rs. This was back in Jan 2013. The ECU cost me 5 or 6000, don't remember exactly. The motor is with all sensors intact, all AC and PS pump, uncut wiring loom and flywheel/clutch.
