Sound of 2nd gear is not a maj issue, try to develop a habit to change gear before 15km/h.
Safeguard depends on your choice, depends on avail in your market
Dont use mud mat, it may cause a engine heat-up issue.
Mine also pridor 2017 model and fit. Now I change bike from Pridor to CG-2018 model.2nd gear is problem but after 8 or 9 k , no sound. No worry.
