Body code of Pajero Evolution is V55W and its Engine Code is 6G74 Mivec. T3 that you mentioned has nothing to do with Pajero Evolution. Infact, T3 was the catagory of Paris-Dakar Rally for which the Pajero Evolution was prepared.

My knowledge is that just over 1000 pieces of Pajero Evolution were built between October 1997 and 1999 (mitsuman can confirm the exact number), Mitsubishi later discontinued the production of civilian models of Pajero Evo. Afterwards, Pajero Evos were built, probably around 50 at a time, for the rally division of Mitsubishi called Ralliart. Once those 50 were done with, another batch of 50 were produced. The later models of Pajero Evolutions were not sold to public.

Between 97 and 99, Pajero Evolutions were offered for sale in Japan and European markets only, I am not sure about US market but these were certainly not sold in GCC/Middle East.

As a result, firstly because of limited production, genuine body parts of Pajero Evolution are expensive as compared to similar model's normal Pajero. Further, you cant get them locally or from Middle East, so getting the body kit of Pajero Evolution would neither be cheap nor easy. Pajero Evo is about 2 inches wider than the normal pajero so I am not sure how the bumpers would fit, anyhow you can still try if you want

Nice info....though the total vehicles built were well over 2000! And were available only in RED, WHITE and SILVER! The black posted above is a repaint and sure looks ugly with those LC 80 alloys(yuk...yuk)!!! Your pair looks awesome together.....no offence to rasim, but if you'd ask me, they should not part!!!

Sir the silver one is on a car carrier bound for Karachi since 4/5 days but which is stuck in Kot Sabzal, probably waiting for the floods to recede a bit to safely reach Karachi.

Probably none except Rasim would have had the silver one but since he and I would use, enjoy and maintain the Evos equaly well, so it was not a difficult choice. Besides whenever I require it back or anything else from Rasim, he will not hesitate for a moment even so, ALL IS WELL:D

Since yours and Rasim's are exactly the same vehicles, a video of their drag and some videos of off road fun in Phase 8 are a must.

Rao,,,yaar I never knew you wanted to have a ride, I have been to Islamabad on Evo atleast thrice in the last month, I could certainly have dropped by.

Next time we meet, whether in Lahore, Islamabad or Nathiagali, you will get to drive the Evo, and if you want a worth remembering ride, like you said that you once had in my Black Jimny, allow me to be of service(H)

It might surprise you that although 280 hps gives a lot of acceleration, yet, Evo's strongest part is its handling, truly it drops ones jaw, you will love it
