well total expenses were above 100k, this includes visa (15k), return ticket (30-40k) this depends on the season, accommodation (20k), food (15k), transportation (10k). Keep in mind that these figure varies, u may not find cheap accommodation or cheap food, depends on the locality.

secondly u have to exit UAE to get residence visa, my company sent me to Bahrain for exit for just 1 hour LOL, I came back on the same flight.

thirdly where did I get the job? Well I got the job in one of the worlds most reputed company. Emirates Airline!! (H) working as a Customer Service Agent at Dubai Airport.

and lastly talking abt benefits, well first of all free tickets to ANY DESTINATION IN THE WORLD (H), housing allowance, permanent job, its not a contract, job security, low work load, flexible working hours, discounted tickets for my entire family. What else can I ask for...

So long story short, I applied online through their online portal, they responded within 4 days, they had a very long and tough selection process, it had 5 rounds, consisiting of numericals, english writing, english speaking, english listening, essay writing, comprehension, ticket reading, geography, assessment interview and final interview. It took more than 8 hours but I managed to pass all of them. Finally they called me after 1.5 months to give the good news.

question: I heard that if you come on 3 months visit; you don't have to exit from UAE to stamp your residence. true or not-true? if its not-true; which duration visa is suitable/enough to stay and look for job? 1 month or 3 months?

see it all depends on you. Jis ko job milni hoti hai to usko 3 days mai mil jati hai warna 3 months mai bhi nai milti. There is no answer for this bro. Regarding your second question, it depends on your company. Most of the times the company will send you for exit on their expense. Sometimes you have to exit and enter on your own. Sometimes the company wont even ask for exit. One of my friend changed his job and he didnt went for exit. So it all depends on your employer.

It depends on the visa type. Normally, "tourist visa" holders will certainly have to exit the country and re-enter to get the new visa pasted on their passport. Its no big deal. Take a flyDubai flight to Muscat, Oman and come back. It will take only about 4 hours for round trip and costs around 500 AED. I went to muscat last ramzan, went to airport after sehri at 4:30 AM and was back in my room at 10 AM. These flights to Muscat stay there for hardly and hour and 90% passengers will be the ones for visa change process.

However, if you have a "visit visa", you do not normally have to fly out of country to have your new visa activated. There is a process called "Local amendment" or something similar. The visa issuing authority will charge 800 AED to you company and will change the visa status without you traveling. This is more convenient.

If you are coming on job hunt, come on a 3 month visa. Atleast 2 months! 1 month is too little time, although i know people who got lucky after just 2-3 days of landing, one should not take such risks. so, come with a gud amount of time in ur hands.

First of all, congratulations on getting a job in UAE's finest company! It will certainly be very rewarding and a great learning experience for you.
As for the highlighted part, i just want to clarify for those who don't know that you CAN actually get a work visa while you are in UAE on a visit visa but your work visa (officially called "Employment visa", valid for 2 months) is a temporary visa and to have it activated, you have to fly out and then fly in, get an entry stamp on this new visa and then you have 2 months time to submit this stamped visa to the immigration office for status change. Once your status is changed from visit visa to employment visa, you need to get your medical done which is a 20 min process (apart frm queues) and once you receive a clean report from the medical centre, they paste a permanent visa on your passport which lasts for 2 or 3 years (after which time it will either be renewed if you stay in the company or will be expired if you leave the company and your new employer will do the same procedure again).

So, the advantage of coming on 3 months visa is that even if you get a job after 2 months, you still have 1 month for your employer to get your employment visa and have your status changed. Otherwise, you will have to go to Pakistan, receive your employment visa there, get your NICOP made and protector pasted on you passport. If you visit pakistan after having your uae (or any other) visa pasted on your passport, then you don't need to get protector etc.
