I read some posts here about pakistanis not helping one another, I can give you a reason for that.
I have been in different continents of the world and have setup an abode and had employment too. I used to meet a lot of fresh arriving Pakistani people and by nature tried to help them out. I have sourced cheap and reliable cars for some, helped in searching for startup housing, I have referred some to jobs and guided them how/where/what on searching for them too.
The biggest issue I face is 99% of the people usually have zero/nill/sannaata business acumen or experience and yet show big names in their resume, when asked deeper they usually tell a story of some "sifarish" or "sarkari mulazim" or "foji background family" or "political background family" or plain downright inept and unable to process common sense tasks.
This is the biggest issue, A person can only show you a door, you need to open and walk through it, then negotiate inside it on your own, the negotiation of working a job is known as "good experience".
sadly - it almost never is like that and the person who refers them gets blacklisted and not considered trustworthy anymore.
Again, the concept of sifarish in Pakistan is misused, sifarish in classic terms means "advocating" someone's good work/experience etc. just like people post about workshops/car brands etc here on PW.
the misuse is best explained as hiring a complete nincompoop for proper work just because 'jurnal saab ke humzulf ka bhateeja hai"
coming back to square one, be your own critic, measure yourself and look at the job descriptions and decipher what they want, research it, then become the best of what you do and do it halal, Become the person whose second nature is your jobs mechanix (anyone who has seen pipe fitters on an offshore rig can decipher what I mean) I have experienced that rizq will follow you like the earth follows its orbit - you wont be able to hide from it.
