How to buy dish tv?

ther's n option for paying thru creditcard..
all they want is that pin number.. of ur card..
thats all
so i was thinkin why not recharge it urself?
any idea if we can ?? cuz i asked the guy he said no u cant they will block it
i think they just made this up so that people can pay them high frm the actual prices..

I finally caved (after all this time) and gave the guy a call, and he will come by and install it today.

I caved because my local cable guy has blocked ESPN due to the Cricket world cup. Apparently those mother###### at Geo Super and PTV have the clout to block out any other channels that are also showing the cricket world cup.

I don't even watch cricket so you can imagine my frustration.

The problem is that a DTH service is only as good as the channels it offers, and the Pakistani DTH service is going to offer garbage. Case in point; PTCL Smarttv.

I have the DishTV unit installed now, but there are a few channels that don't work: Signal Not Found. Ten Sports India is not working and I really want that. I will have to call back that guy today because I asked him if a 2 ft dish would be enough and he said yes. Apparently, this is not the case.

Also, I emailed the DishTV people and they gave me the details of their authorized seller in Pakistan. So, apparently DishTV is not illegal to use in Pakistan from DishTV's perspective. Anyone want those details, let me know.

for free to air Indian Channels, try dd direct dth. stbs locally available will work . most channels are not worth concern for Pakistani Audience.
