U mean, in drifting there is no role of handbrake? then u wrong my brother, totally wrong.... And what do u mean by CORRECT DIRECTION.....? Sorry but i totally disagree
First of all, the "real" drifting is reserved for rear-wheel drive cars. What front wheel drive cars do with handbrakes is basically powersliding since the rear wheels lock up. In rear wheel drive cars the rear naturally steps out, you don't really need the handbrake to drift unless you're a newbie. Weight transfer in rear wheel drives makes it easy for an experienced drive to make the car go tail happy.
Whatever you "totally disagree" with is something you have no clue about, so try researching before tossing about your "totally disagree"s. I've tried and tested what I'm saying and i know how it works, the only real way to do a tail swinging "drift" (in FWDs) is by the method I mentioned. Other methods are the scandinivian flick which are also good but need a lot of practice and are dangerous to say the least.
Even the one I mentioned is very dangerous and can throw your alignment out if your car is not setup for agressive handling.
Drifting is basically the art of managing oversteer and FWDs do NOT naturally oversteer.
