How to increase fuel economy of Alto VXR 1000cc f10a

One thing I noticed in my alto vxr carby engine is that fitting stock jets, replacing the slow jet with a genuine one, and tuning the mixture knob (as explained above) will make your car do 15 to 16 kmpl. I have experienced it, but not in stock carburetor (rather its a Chinese carby from mehran)

Bro it can’t do 16km/l in rush areas where 1st 2nd gear is used. Only on clean roads where you can drive at 60-70km/h at 5th gear only then it can do 16km/l. In my opinion in local rush driving anything in between 8-12km/l is possible if your car is in good nick.

I am having the said fuel economy bcz of the custom carburetor. I think with the stock carb, fuel economy would suffer.

I had the same problem. Check the lines under the bonnet and under the back seat from the fuel pump.
