well...i am facing another problem here...actually i have Ufone connection, i activated my GPRS connection first in Nokia and then transferd my sim to Xperia, now when i called the help line they said they dont have Xperia's setting and you (I) would have to go to Ufone center and they will do that manually. I searched on internet and found some manual settings for Xperia X10, I did that and now when i go to the MARKET option it says that enter ur google account when i enter my username and pw it says that wait for like 5 min to connect to the google server but after like 1 min it says that you dont have data connection.
Now as far as ur querry is concerned i am also doubfull of this market option that comes after rooting through this link becoz according to the sites of softwares this market option should come in " settings" and then in "applications" , but this options is not available there infact its coming in main menu........so still confused whether it will work or not...but first let me resolve my mobile internet connection. I will revert to you, meanwhile if u get any success let me know that please.
