How to make GR 150 faster?

Hello Pakwheelers Assalam o alaikum!
Mere pas bike Suzuki GS 150SE thi kept it for a very long time it's a wonderful bike it has some flaws & old technology but still i loved it mainly because of the power.
Now i have switched to GR 150 & it's a fabulous bike very much comfortable, GS is nowhere near to GR in terms of comfort.
But i deeply miss the top speed & instant power delivery of GS. Please take your time & guide me how can i make my GR as powerful as GS or more without damaging my engine.

Recently bought a GR used. Did a lot of research and this is what. I learned:
To make the bike faster you need to:
1. Change the manual slide carbeurator with a CV carb like in the GS150.
2. Stock air filter is extremely restrictive. Replace that with cg125 filter or good quality moxi filter with foam sleeve.
Also add another intake pipe on the air box.
3. Retrofit a qabli less restrictive exhaust . Stock exhaust is very very restrictive to reduce sound of the bike.
4. Iridium spark plug and Honda 125 deluxe japanese ignition coil qabli can be swapped with original ignition coil. Stock ignition coil is incredibly small.

Extreme mods
1. Bore out the piston to increase compression. (Inspiration from gs150r launched in India.)

This should make the bike faster. I will be doing a few of these mods in my bike next month and will document this stuff .

Well i definitely won't bore out piston as it's irreversible process.

But I'll surely do the carburator & air filter thing inshaAllah.

One thing i would like to ask is that GR has a limiter @9000rpm so changing the carburator will effect the limiter or it'll stay at 9000rmp. & If it does go beyond 9000rpm will it cause any damage to my engine?

It's a carb driven bike hence no computerized rev limiter is present. The CDI box is what prevents the engine from going over a certain rpm limit set by the manufacturer. You can replace the CDI with an adjustable one from dara z(china) for about 1500 PKR and you can set the rpm limit yourself.

That black bend pipe is the only intake point for the air box. You can drill exactly on the opposite side of the air box in the same location using a step drill bit and attach a similar bend pipe to it hence increasing the amount of air that the air box can suck. Not very effective if you are using the stock air filter.
