How to make profit from cars?

Dear Friends! Can anyone suggest how to make profit from cars?? suppose if you have 6-7 lakhs, how to invest and how to make profit out of it??

Do what some dealers do, find good cars, give them a good compound polish, get it detailed in and out, add some shashliks like air press, car alarm etc and sell it at higher price for profit.

there could be two kinds of jobs:
1-Car in running condition
buy a car already in running condition and do not invest more money and try to sell it with a small profit margin as soon as possible.
2-Car in ruined codition
buy a car in ruined condition and get reconditioned by urself , for this purpose u shud have proper technical knowledge for automobiles , u shud have contacts of good denter/painter/mechanic/electrition (those who can do their jobs in discounted rate for your) than sell it with good profit margin.

sir second hand car can be given on rent!do sure the car is insured!and you should know that on rent your car will die in 4 years and then you have to sell it to buy another one!we did this business and earned good profit!and no doo numberi in the business!

yes there is also common practice here in twin cities to purchase car from khi and sold out here .

Sir you have to find and buy only good cars, that do have a demand in market, at low price and sell them at high price, example: Indus Corolla, Cultus, Xli.

Stay away from big fency cars, example: Mazda RX8, Mercedes etc.

Also you should know a lot about cars, all cars.

Trust, honesty and reputation is the key to success.

i guess killer pointed his post towards scorpio.

You should look for car in ok condition, do some work & make up and then sell the car.

1 thing, don't try to rip people if you want to do business, you can just rip them once but it may bring bad repute. Try to be fair and make relations. It will help in longer run.

You can not make money out of "cars" but you can earn from your knowledge or in other words the additional knwoledge that you have as compared to the others. You need to know about the market worth of a car and weather you are buying or selling. Get a good deal and sell it on a reasonable profit giving a feeling to the buyer as a win-win deal. One thing more every area or market has its own deminsions never forget this! a car that can be sold at a good prices in Islamabad cannot yield the same in lahore or Gujranwala!

buy original cars at good price, take your mechanic along for e.g buy khyber in limited edition nd 2000 models from the people who want to sell the cars urgently as they would be in need of money, and than get the car serviced polished get the minor works done and sell the car on 20000+ profit, that way you are doing a hilal work and not misleading people into buying screwed up cars which is indeed a common practice in karachi by most of the showroom dealers
