How to Take Care of your new Car AC?

If you have the new civic then there is no need to worry now. Just use the AC normally and have the condensor and radiator cleaned up once a month (when you get your car serviced). After 2 years i.e. 2012, just get you A/C serviced from any reputable shop. Thats it. No need to do any other thing

I m sorry mate, to disturb your sense of humor!
In fact this is my first new car. Before this, I always used second hand cars and the most common problem in all of them was in AC during summers! Therefore, I thought it appropriate to ask wise people here so that I avoid such mistakes that may lead to an early fault in a new AC.
Hope this justifies the presence of this post here and not in 'humor'!!?

Hi guys ,

Just need an update. I just bought a new car, 1.8 litre, its brand new. Some people are advising me to Drive slow, with a/c on, some people are advising me to drive without ac , some are saying keep the engine running on idle for long , then turn on AC .. please advise. Its impossible not to drive in Saudi Arabia where the temprature is easily in 30's at night, and over 40's in the morning.

Many of us often forget to shut the ac & blower fan in hurry while stoping the engine,the next time while starting the car its often happens we start with ac button left pressed.Thats bad for ac and engine aswell.
