My father bought a car back in 2007-8. It's a corolla S.E saloon 2005 automatic 1.6CC. He bought it through a bank auction for about 7-8 lakhs. We drove it for many years until his death on 4h june 2014. Last year i made the decision to sell it at that time i didnt knew anything about HPA not clear but now the buyer called me and told that the car is not cleared from the bank. I was confused cause my father had done the payment. And now i think the bank requires a clearance certificate which i do not have and i think only my father had the knowledge about it. So can someone help please? can a duplicate clearance certificate be issued? Urgent help required
