Its a very good phone .... thinner and light weight than iphone 5 and s5 .... Awesome resolution .... Front camera is very good .... Battery time is good .... I m usng it for last one year approx .... Its simply a classic phone .... Very decent looking , having a glass back

I dont think people wanna spend 47k on huawei and stand unique .... Majority likes to hold an iphone and galaxy in pakistan

That's the pure Pakistani mentality people have in their mind while buying even when my cousin brought honor 3c first in my social circle I used it and liked it but I was little bit hesitating when buying mine as I have worse experience with qmobiles but I took the risk and brought it and I m more then satisfied with my mobile as huawei smartphones r not v.common in Pakistan like Samsung galaxy series so people r hesitating to buy it.

1) I use whatmobile or any alternative to short list phones in my budget.

2) Based on their release dates, I select the latest ones, not more than 3-6 months old. This is very important for resale point of view.

3) I read Gsmarena reviews by their team, not the user reviews and select the most suitable according to my requirements.

Am I the only one who uses these type of selection criteria?.

I adopt same strategy, except pt 2
And in pt 3, I check reviews frm gsmarena team and users both....

I too uses this method but I also see video reviews of phonearena and i don't care if the phone is even 1year old and if it is matching my requirments then I will just go and buy it

If you buy an outdated phone, then you can't enjoy latest official lollipop and kitkat roms and all latest features. Plus you see people here having trouble with selling phones that are now obsolete or have better & newer alternatives.

U r right but at least it does not matter to me as my honor 3c has android jelly bean 4.2 + it matches all my needs and about resale I mostly keep my phone for 3 years+ so it doesn't matter for me apart from that when I m making my decision of buying honor 3c I also considered to buy an Sony xperia sp and Samsung galaxy grand prime
But skipped the idea of buying both because prime has low ram so multitasking is a problem for me as I do alot of multitasking on my phone and does not want any sort of lag.About xperia sp it does not have good frontcam.
And about 3c lite I will buy used 3c any day over lite because of much better specs apart from os
