@ImranKhan, i am sure you will be there one day. I realise the difficulties from Karachi becuase if you travel by raod then it is never ending journey and if by plane it is always struck by the element of chnace. But do give it a shot. I am sure you will love it.

i also visit gilgit via PIA on 25th july 2010 before flood and i cant explain my feeling after enjoying the weather of hunza valley at night. i also visit nultar valley and i must say nultar valley is way way better than hunza in beauty but hunza leads in weather.

@SunnyFunny, Nagar is indeed a beautiful valley. I went all the way to Hoper village crossing through the Nagar valley. Have a look at some pictures of Hoper village and the Glacier that runs through the Hoper village. It is amazing that at such a height Hoper is a relatively flat piece of land between snow capped peaks.

@sunnyfunny, sorry i thought you were talking about Nagar. Naltar is also very beautiful, a paradise for Sking lovers, but to me the real thing is Karimabad and Nagar. Anyhow enjoy the pictures of Hoper and Nagar.

@Noman, the attabad lake is now permanent. The excess water flows through the water channels that have been created but the lake stays there. Road to Khunjrab Pass is closed because around twenty kilometers are under water.
