Non Auto Window was a complete surprise, we have a 2005 Baleno and that has Auto Windows so used to it by now that it Bothers me every time by a toll booth

I have Tucson. Paint quality seems ok. Plus quality , being a ckd is better than many.

I have had absolutely no issues with paint quality or any kind of squeaky dashboard / internal parts. I have had the car for 3 months now, driven it around 5K on long trips (including motorway and bumpy highway as well).

i got my car in june 2021 driven around 18000 kms . I live in Pakpattan roads are a mess here. I travel to sahiwal quite frequently literally the worst road i have seen but still not a single squeak from anywhere in the car.
After i bought my car two other family members bought 2 cars that makes 3 in the family . No issue in anyone of them. Paint quality is like any other car its class.
yes having no auto window up is a big con. Yes parts are expensive but what would we expect on a 4 million rs car . and please dont compare with corolla coz genuine corolla parts also cost quite alot.
Also i would recommend getting it insured and forget about expensive parts. 80 to 90 thousand a year wont burn anyones pocket if they can afford this car

Well I think the dashboard issue is only in our car, it is more of a QC failure on part of the company and i wanted to know which insurance company do you recommend?

i had mine insured from Islamic Takaful at 1.7 percent. Against a declared value of 45 lac rs this year.

A brief review of CKD Elantra 1.6. My previous company car Altis 1.6 2015 model was replaced with an Elantra 1.6 in April 2021. Initially I looked down on this car as I very much liked Altis. However overall the car is good. Has killer looks. Comfortable and nice features. Fuel average totally depends of driving style. It has 6 speed automatic transmission which gives much higher acceleration than Altis while starting from zero. On the other hand in long travel like motorway fuel economy is excellent. Once I was not in a hurry while going from Multan to Lahore so I drove slow (Between 90~100Km/h) and fuel average was 19.3km/l. I think it is better than any non hybrid car available.

Confused between 1.6 Elantra (new) and 1-2 year used Civic. What do the experts here suggest? Pro's and con's?

Facelift Civic definitely. 1.6 Elantra doesn't even have a cruise control & adding aftermarket one voids warranty.

Elantra 1.6 is probably available in 1 month or under. I think it's the best buy in today's situation.

I was also confused between both of them but I choses 1.6 Elantra and booked it 2/8/22 alhamdulillah over civic2020-2021 because of both of them offering us same features to us beside the engine 1.6/1.8 also civic will be used one . Elantra would be new fresh and better build quality.

I booked Elantra in the start of August 2022 at Airport branch Lahore and got it on the first week of September 2022. Color is Silver metallic. Drive is good, engine is powerful but paint job sucks there is a variation in door colors. Front doors are darker as compare to rear doors. Interior was told to be beige and brown but its is grey and black. Upon complaining to Hyundai about these issues they gave very typical desi answer "Sir matellic main shade different ho jata hai and this will not be claimed - ap ki gari main koi masla nai hai - yeh hota hi aisa hai".
