Also to mention, the 2.0 old elantra is still there in their brochure which means that they have not discontinued the old elantra until now. Would have been better if they gave 2.0L full petrol option in this with lower price

No ADAS/adaptive is a let down. It will be a tough decision between this and sonata. Still see it selling well because of it being a hybrid and good looking

No radar and adaptive cruise in a vehicle priced almost 1 crore, in 2025…

Should be a deal breaker for many .

Adaptive is important and blind stop these 2 things should have been added other than that it's perfect.
Even now it makes the rs look pretty dull.

nice joke ..have you ever driven the latter two? civicx oriel drive is the worst among elantra,grande due to stone hard seats and a seating position which makes you feel sitting on the ground not to mention the absolute pathetic engine response highly sluggish and constant groan cvt..were you talking about type r

exactly ..both elantra,grande are better built and comfortable cars then substandard x..suneel munj uses another word for it but i wont use it here as it would hrt many fans here .

I don't think so at all. I believe it will cannibalize the sales of Sonata. Buyer looking for Sonata will easily be drawn to Elantra Hybrid looking at fuel economy and cheaper pricing.

Okay so i went and checked it out today.

Exterior:
No doubt it looks awesome from every angle in exterior. Looks much wider and longer than civic or grande, like sonata. Paint quality and materials are great. One different thing is Drls stay off until you disengage parking brake.

Interior:
Rear leg space is better than previous elantra and matches civic grande now. However rear door cards don’t have good materials. Hard plastic. No rear armrest. Rear ac vents dont have any dial. Hump is there in the middle.

Driving seat is a different story. I would rate it better than sonata. Searing position is lower thsn prev elantra. Everything wraps around you and I just loved the comfort. Pretty wide. Steering is beautiful. Leather and dashboard is premium unlike rear seats.

It still costs 20 lakhs cheaper than sonata. If you mostly drive yourself buy elantra. If you want to be chauffeured around get a sonata or civic.

Elantra ex lahore is 9916000 and sonata 2.0 is 10700000
