Comfort again is subjective.

Sitting in Grande makes my back heal and I have driven it more than 12 hours in a single day on motorways without any stress. The relatively hard seat is literally what I love and it gives me comfort.

The fact it beautifully absorbs bumps and potholes also gives an edge in comfort.

at one hand your saying civic is more comfortable on the other hand your also agreeing it has a hard suspension(compared to grande) ..idk which car is comfortable which has a hard suspension and im not even talking about the stone hard phatta seats of civicx yet ..so quit yapping about buddy and cut to the chase you are a civic fan boy good for you but guess what majority agrees that grande has better seats then civicx anyday heck even a xli has better comfy seats then a civic ..now im not going to listen to one fanboy over the majority .. the only thing civic is good for is well paved roads the moment you take it somewhere other then that its a big risk and a headache for the owner .. civicx give you backache in just 20 min of driving whereas for grande your talking about at least 2 or something hour drive before you feel your back s getting tired..the low riding position of civic gives you somewhat better stability but thats just about it..looks are subjective many people including me prefer grande looks as well especially over elantra prev gen so its all a subjective matter . and who is telling you to drive over tall speed breakers at high speeds lol.. civic will get thrashed even at low speeds on bad roads.

Civic is also a taxi in developed world. So is Elantra and Sonata.

Also there is no sedan option available in Pakistan besides these cars. What else you want people to buy?

You didn’t answer what sedan options are available in Pakistan besides Civic or the old Grande? Ie Indus or atlas?

Only Elantra. That has questionable parts support and expensive to maintain. Doesn’t even have modern features like adaptive cruise - at least RS civic has it I believe.

So yes in sedan we are stuck with indus and atlas .

mercedes is also used as taxi in germany so idk what point your trying to prove over here..its a testament to a cars reliability that its used as taxi ..and if you think a car like corolla which is the most succesful car in the world in terms of sales sucks you need to re evaluate your whole knowledge on cars buddy..prius was the first mass produced hybrid launched in 98 i guess so there goes your so called thinking that hybrids are somehow latest or superior to gasoline cars..your so called latest civic lacks quallity and features compared to its price and elantra also has its downsides or else these would be outselling grande by a margin.. the reality is their not ..elantra has way less resale value and parts availibilty then grande which in itself is a thing to think about before buying.

the so called latest elantra lacks a rear arm rest and a weird front ..the hybrid powertrain is yet to pass test of time unlike toyota which is the best when it comes to hybrids.. plus i didnt say we all should or may buy a grande i just said its still selling more in number even being same shape from 2014..if you interpreted my statement like this you were wrong. even now the feature of so called decade old are more then the latest rip of oriel so also take this in to consideration. just because its decade old doesnt mean its not worth it ..the so called latest ones have downsides of their own which i just mentioned,and no ones forcing you to buy it after a 100 years you can easily buy the elantra with latest shape in mind ignoring the lack of rear arm rest and weird front while dishing out more money.. atleast civic has rear arm rest plus overall decent looks and its so called latest one which you prefer most dearly . no ones forcing you . i will prefer the reliable one which is grande any day .

even if elantra hybrid is shit or over priced.....grande shouldnt deserve any support at all. i am a kind of person who prebooked civic but got my PBO cancelled and money returned when i heard of 127 HP oriel. i didnt even bother to go for markup money / own money which was hight at that time.

its about time we tell these companies that they and their cars are shit....totally shit. i made a huge 127 HP campaign against honda on its launch..i even had long chats with wahab bhai on that. we even investigated the prices of LLCVT & MCVT and the shit honda was doing with its customers. and its not honda. toyota is ripping us all as well.. so please stop defending that decade old piece of shit costing 7.5 mil. you deserve better.look at their other model; cross is a total flop. for that matter, look at khota fortuner 2.7..... clue less pricing. they are running hight because we are giving tooooooo much importance to brand toyota. if you aint getting off metal roads you dont need to give them pre 2020 respect .

Just where did I say I support the new Elantra? It's the worst car to buy currently, in my opinion. What I meant is that we, as consumers, need to stop buying obsolete and overpriced cars completely. This is an inevitable move if we want proper sedans here, regardless of how hard it might be. It's either a mass boycott or legal action.
Now we all know where legal action will get us (nowhere). That leaves the boycott option. If we want proper sedans, it's something that must be done. Or we'll keep enjoying the obsolete grande and over priced civic and Elantra.

And you didn't answer my question. What makes the resale value of a car?

Now that being said, no car will have parts support if no one buys it. No car will be given the chance to prove itself if no one buys it. No brand value can be made if no one buys from the brand.

In the end, it all comes down to the fact that new cars must be given a chance.
