100% agreed....Tuscon was a different story as Crossovers were limited in Pakistan...
They need to launch in 1.6 variant first...
They would not be able to compete with 2.0L engine....would only compete with Corolla Grande and Civic Oriel if priced 4/5 lacs lesser than them with 2.0L engine....
They should have tapped the 3.0 to 3.4 Mil PKR market.....which is right now not there in Pakistan....
SUB-SUB-COMPACT SEDAN:.....Lol........DIGGI wali cars
2.1 to 2.3 Mil winner is Changan Alsvin (Base Variant)......(Alsvin is only choice) SAGA might chip in
SUB-COMPACT SEDAN:
2.3 to 2.7 Mil winner is Honda City (1.3 Aspire) (Alsvin, Yaris, Honda choice)
SUB-COMPACT SEDAN:
2.8 to 3.1 Mil Winner is Toyota Yaris (Ativ X) (Yaris 1.5 ATIV X, Honda 1.5 Aspire Auto choice)
SEDAN CATEGORY STARTS WITH PROPER CARS BUT BASE VARIANTS:
3.2 to 3.55 Mil Current Winner in Altis 1.6 Auto (No competition)...BRV is useless and not a Sedan
LOCAL PREMIUM JAPANESE SEDAN CATEGORY:
3.7 to 4.1 Mil Current Winners are Altis 1.8 Grande and Honda Civic Oriel
1.6 was the best category for sure.....& PRICING SHOULD BE BETWEEN 3.2 to 3.5 Mil.....only way Hyundai could benefit is with immediate delivery unlike Corolla whose delivery have gone to October/November 2021
