That sportage was sold back in July 2018.. dollar was not inflated that time the way it shot up later.
so we can assume 8 Million.. maybe again just a guess

Exactly! I don't know why we are still debating and discussing Hyundai. Why do we even care about price of this product when practically only a billionaire may think of buying it. Hyundai has simply disappointed people of Pakistan. One can guess how they are gonna price other cars too.

Hmm... I wonder what people should buy. A Fortuner, which is 1/3 the price, has an incredibly powerful engine, space for 7 people, the ability to go on whatever terrain you want, easy availability of parts; or should they spend 3 times as much on a glorified Vezel with an engine that's just as powerful as the Civic Turbo.

You're being a little harsh with the santa fe there, it's a pretty nice car but yeah, i share your sentiments about how they've priced it.

Let's have a look at Grand starex here, the cheaper most hiace sold by Indus is 4.4 million pkr but it has seating capacity for 15-16 so in strictly commercial terms, Pakistani transport operators would rather go with the hiace unless some offices are demanding a more executive mode of transport.
For a family van, imo the grand carnival is a much much better option.

that is way too expensive then international market in that car is around 40000$ why 3 times the price

The engine on the Santa Fe is just puzzling as hell. It's 2.4L with exactly the same power output as the local Civic Turbo. Had they gone for something like a 1.5L or 1.6L Turbo, the price would have been much lower.

Santafe can be compared to Sportage..Brv is a crap when compared with suv..na power hai na look hai. Brv is a unchi car for bigger familes....price apni jaga oer santa fe needs respect and must not be compared with Chinese mall or even BRV. Even vitara is far superior than brv

1st if you think chines car are crap then you don't know any think about china watch Grand Tour and you will see where china is now. it's not a same china any more we Pakistani are nothing where china now for GOD get these ideas out from your head.

2nd point yes BRV a cheap car but Santafe also not a expensive car it is mid size SUV or crossover SUV equal to Honda CRV Nissan Rogue Toyota RAV4 Kia Sportage Ford Escape and these are not that expensive cars then why hell this so expensive. Even including tax don't justifies the price tag

Yar abhi offcial price nhn ai..so don't rely on Pakwheels..i was in emporium yesterday and price was not mentioned anywhere...so relax. China khud apnay mulk main bhi apni cars se ziada international chalata hau..i m not doubting China class and progress but automobile industry is entirely different... Toyota...VW.. Honda's are successful for a reason... Hyundai has also made its mark worldwide... people having less knowledge about cars can rely on google..else take a plane and travel to 3-4 countries..do take pics of Chinese hit cars...
