Price nhn btaye..... finishing is so so...not impressed ag all from interior ..price must be under 4 million to make an impression as it's hybrid

Sometimes I wish that Toyota launched their Prius here. But then I realize that the new Prius is like 6 million pkr +

they actually did launch it.

the old model for 45 lacs,

when the used market prius was for 20-25 lac.

it flopped so badly no one bought it.

honda did the same with CRZ, launch for 35 lac. no one bought it. in the end they sold it for 25 lac just to get rid of the stock.

They said that the Iconiq is relatively faster in acceleration than the Prius. Gives more fuel average as well... The car is okay, but it's rear is not so good looking. It looks like an old 2002 car from the rear. I don't know what facelift model they are talking about, I couldn't find any ”new” facelifted model in the web or it is just not launched yet.

I'm interested in this car nonetheless.

Toyota should AT LEAST try to locally assemble the Aqua in Pakistan. We really need a localized hybrid car!

Right... I just remembered seeing Prius in the indus website. I thought they were hoarding the cars from Japan and reselling here with extra $$ for profit.

The ioniq just got a facelift a few days ago with a host of exterior and interior changes. Nothing drastic but nonetheless, better than the older model. Check this video:

Did the Hyundai reps mention something about bringing the facelifted model to pak?

P.S. Toyota Aqua has effectively been discontinued globally. The Vitz hybrid is it's spiritual successor.

The narrator in the last Iconiq review video by PW mentioned that they will do another review once the facelifted model arrives. Therefore, I believe it could be possible that they will launch its new facelifted model in Pak in the near future.

Tbh, I really love the look of the facelifted model.

Toyota is in process of discontinuing Prius C a.k.a Aqua. Cutting on member of models. Infact the next generation Prius is also rumored to be NOT a hatchback style vehicle as currently we have. Toyota is thinking to bring a Hybrid compact crossover to replace current generation of Prius.

2020 Corolla Hybrid has started impressing people and with its 52MPG US fuel economy figures, people looking for Hybrid will jump into a conventional sedan rather a stigma Prius always have. " the styling ".

I agree, it's an improvement through and through.
But i wouldn't hold my breath on anything Pakwheels reports. That particular ioniq video had such a lethargic and ill-informed presenter, the whole video seemed half-arsed.

Aqua is still in production.

Soon to be discontinued and not replaced with any next generation. In some markets its already stopped selling. In US 2019 would be last year of sales..

It started with Audi A6, last year it was Audi A5 and now the prize is an ioniq. I guess that's one way to market your product. A product which isn't even for sale....
