Have u checked PCV valve and cleaned it? Its behind the air intact housing if your are looking towards engine. Get it out and shake it if you feel some movement in it, its fine, if not then wash it with carb cleaner thoroughly and check again for the movement.

You can try magic motors in model town. they have off the engine injector cleaning tool, they charge rs 2000 for four injectors. Im assuming you are getting low mileage on petrol too...

Santro was reducing water about 3 inches from the reservoir bottle on every 50-70km drive. Tightened hoses now reducing and inch for the same distance. AC ON.

Filled coolant today, upto max mark in the reservoir. Now its throwing out coolant/steam from the reservoir bottle, may be it was throwing water too but noticed today just because of the green coolant..... Also, opened radiator cap and started the car, it started water bubbling outside the cap. What's this? is it normal or a problem? Temp gauge stays just below middle all the time and AC is running,,, don't know if T valve is there or not, fan is auto... no heating at alll.

Now are these two separate issues? 1) Throwing water out from the reserve bottle and 2) bubbling in the radiator? or one? Whats the diagnosis and whats the remedy?

One mach told me head bolts needs to be tightened another says its normal. I remem my mehran used to throw coolant from the reservoir bottle, changed radiator cap and it was fixed. Can i get a new genuine cap ? ISB/Rwp??? Help please.

i was searching on pakwheels. people are selling santro almost on the same price as of cultus. i wanted to ask which one to go for? i am currently driving mehran and sick of it. i want to change it to santro or cultus. jdms aren't an option. so which should i go for? my budget is 5 lac max.

Mohsin bhai I sold my Mehran to get a 1000cc AC wali. JDMs were not considered just coz of CNG and 3 gear a/t. Cultus is good but in comparision Santro is much better. I went for Santro 2007 in Rs. 100,000 less than cultus of the same model and condition. I am very much staisfied and happy over my decision. Much powerful, responsive, better quality and options. Negative is bit hard steering and high seats. Yesterday we drove with five healthy peope on board, two over 100kg and 6'4". Rear seat passengers were bit uncomfortable. Engine is much better and durable. AC is just awsum.

Fixed. It was wrong pipe connection on the bottle cap.

my father has a 2006 santro. i have driven santro alot. its steering is damn hard. seats are like you are sitting in rickshaw. suspension is quite hard as well. my father bought it second hand in 2009 and till date it has not given much trouble to us. i was thinking of buying cultus for a change. as i am new in job and my salary is under 50k so i cant really afford to spend too much on a car. i will sell my mehran and put some money i have saved and buy a 1000cc car. now the problem is price of santro and cultus in open market is almost same. so i was wondering to buy cultus as it has easier maintenance. but again santro has best ac and pick and stability. but again parts bug me alot as they are expensive. I am in big dissonance. cant decide what to buy in 5k.

My car seems to be bit unstable at 120 on the 7th ave. havnt been to motorway yet. previously it used to do so on 100km/h then changed the rims... bit better now but still seems unstable.

I had a few trips on m2 but never felt it to be unstable. I guess it has to do more with the condition of rims and tyres...

Car in question is Hyundai Santro Club
The car is running fine on CNG. On petrol, the RPM was going up and down in idle position and the car was not responsive at all. On CNG it was good. I showed it to mechanic, he said one of ur injector is not working so we have to change it. He changed 2 injectors but no use.. After the long hard work he was not able to diagnose the problem.. I came back home, pulled out my tool box and removed the throttle body and IACV and cleaned it thruoghly with carb cleaner. Put back all the things, started the car and the RPM problem was gone and the RPM was stable.. Now the problem which remains is the missing problem. Car is missing on petrol and there is a smell of urburnt petrol. What could be the problem ??? Need help...

car is missing because it is not finding sufficient air to burn the fuel .. as may be you have tapped the intake area of air for cng!!!

you cant get an efi cultus in that budget and if u can then its condition is doubted.. but you can get 2005 santro club in that range

Average on Petrol 10km/L with AC all the time. What to do? Throttle body cleaned tunning done filter changed.
