hello friends..
today i bought a universal RPM for santro for 1600Rs... i think i totally wasted my money, RPM Is working but gauge hardly reach at 1 point .. at peak RPM it should be at around 6 to 7 point..there are 3 positions at the back of meter.. 4. 6 and 8 ...since santro has 4 cylinder we set it to 4 even then guage not moving above 1.5 to 2 points on meter.. so the experiment of using 3rd party RPM totally got flop !

what if we try to use any other 1000cc EFI car RPM meter on santro, will it work? just an idea in my mind !

Santro Plus Model 2002, Distributor with CAM sensor. i changed it back in 2003 bcz of Oil leakage issue.

Its not flop idea, your electrician is a nerd. Santro has got 2 coils, each of them powering 2 cylinders. So u have to look for a gauge with the cylinder setting of 2.

Hahaha.. Thanks Aqib bro.. you are great .. i was too thinking like that RPM is picking half the power.. I will find techo for 2 cylinders.. i was surfing net and found this gadget Sunpro CP7905 Super Tachometer III - Black Dial : Amazon.com : Automotive it looks awesome here we have cheap chinese techometer .. can you recomend good place to buy this stuff ? btw i am Islamabad / RWP base santro lover

It took me 2 month to find a clean ride in my budget, it was like people having clean santro dont want to sell and the abused cars were all over with also low price tag..

. This is my 4th Santro, 1st was Santro plus 2001, 2nd was santro exective 2003, third was santro club 2007. And now 2008 :).
