i have 06 santro and it gives me 13 to 14 km/l in city, alto is non-efi drinks petrol as hell

Alto is far back from Santro in size, comfort, reliability, Engine specs, and driving enjoyment.

i have experience of both
alto good for bumpy roads a little more ground clearnce
soft steering
engine is useless unless tuned for power
no patkha or other issue in low rpm pick
no issue in driving at least 2 feet of water that engine is designed for that
Santro has better road grip
u can put 15 rims on it
modren suspension
better space
better body
FF cng is just love
on high rpm engines is good but on low patakha problem
sensors can get wet while driving in deep water
over all i like both cars in their own ways
and alto vs santro thing no way i dont mean it !

Yes Alto has very good road clearance as compare to Santro, Santro some times hit the road breakers if 5 persons travelling.. Alto having Good CNG millage on long route, Good AC but not as good as Santro have.. I have also used both but was very very disappointed by Alto engine, fuel consumption, noise in cabin, Seats were not comfortable..

My personal purchased and used first car was Santro plus that was real joy to drive.. Then Alto 2002, Then again santro 03 Exec version, Then Wagon-r 2001, then again Santro Club 2007, Then Mehran 2011, Now again Santro Club 2008 :). But have also used my bro, sis, and father cars, Civic 2007 Rebon / Ek Wagon / Baleno / VITZ (The BEST CAR) / 88 corolla / 2007 Diesel Corolla / 2013 GLI Corolla.

Over All Engine performance, Cabin Space, seating and build quality is very good by Santro.

Regarding the Pathakha problem is not a regular problem, its on CNG only in case if your CNG settings are not good or plug wire, coils are week, Just a maintenance issue.
Once this problem faced in my Exec 03 but it was solved very easily by replacing the coils and plug wires, Coil costs only 2800 from bilal ganj and new original plug cable costs 1475. And after that 1.5 Year passing no such problem faced, then got a clean Wagon-R so i change the car.

I use to thought that Peshawar is a big city and as there are almost all type of Japani and other imported cars running on road there must be high-tech mechanics as most of people take there cars to Peshawar for Kabli engine installing, and some other work to done..
Now I feel its not the same I use to have a image of Peshawar.

Korean but not as advanced as misc Japani cars running on Peshawar roads. Are these car use to come ISB for checkups and maintenance works?
If they cant understand a simple Korean Car then how come Imported JAPANI models loaded with a lot sensors etc. Once we faced problem at Lahore for my bro EK-WAGON Mitsubishi regarding good engine mechanics, sensors work to done, and I use to thought Lahore is very far behind in these high technology and If we were in Peshawar we may not face such problems.

Jdm stuff is.available here and mechs know but santro has low market here ppl no like it jdm cars every one works on them korean are considered under dogs also nissans are treated with toyota engines

Its true that Santro is not popular as SUZUKI cars just due to resale, but its wrong to say that Peshawar mechanics not understanding Santro engines. I also own a MEHRAN so called Tin ka Daba by Pak Suzuki but just because of very cheep parts and good market resale. But I love the drive of santro cars and its far far far better then alto, cultus.

Mehran ya Cultus bhi to ab EFI category ma ati ha na bhai g.. but I own old version, will change to EFI version or Santro if a very clean and in my budget found.

we took santro it had fan issue
like fan wont turn on
and we asked to take out sensor
mech came with a huge hammer and long screw dirver his intensions were to fix it with a hammer like jeremey
main issue is that no mech in peshawar wants to work on it
like it needs speacial treatment on oil filter that panja thing
same for nissans in peshawar
if u own a jdm honda toyota or a suzuki then ur in luck!
