too bad. no reply till now. i dont see many helpful santro fans here, why is that?

What is the rule about engine washing? As in you mentioned that engine washing keeps the car in a better running position, but also. It is mentioned under the hood that dont wash with high pressure water.

So what is the right procedure to do it? And how frequently.
It has been more than a month since i own an Exec, i havnt gotten the engine washed once uptil now.

yaar that was Mr hassan ,who converted to power steering . i personaly talk to him he welcome if u wana try the drive of the car.

secondly yaar yes you r right engine wash keeps the car smooth , i personaly hve observed it. i own a santro and i wash her engine everyweeks by mself. if u keep the presure low , there isnt any harm to sensors. also there is specific part on which they dont recommend water other wise engine bay ko and kangiee ko and baki machenical parts ko saaf karain and deisl maraain , keep the bay clean , air filter ko saaf karain hawa say and it will give u smooth drive .

YAar if u were in lahore , i personaly came to check it out . coz i had the same problem , and i hve resovd it by myself. on CNG my car was pathetic when i installed it. and trust me they gave me one year warrenty and service but after few visits to that conversitoin centr i nver went back . and i did everything by myself. and u can race with my santro anytime , u will feel the differenc. on cng and petrol there isnt any difference. ab ap kee car lahor main hoti too daikh kay sab pata chal jata yaar. phir bhi do one thing , hood utha kay CNG injection kee close views lai kay send it to me.CNG pipe utaar kay intgector kee pics bhi send keroo yaar or email me , details say baat karain ghay , fit ho jay ghi car , dont u worry . parishaan nai hona , yeh koiee problem aisi nai kay theek naan ho . my email is imran_sandila@hotmail.com

Please guide me about Santro Club maintenance/parts? R they cheaper as compared to Suzuki or expensive. Which one is good Santro Prime GV, Santro Club or Santro Executive. thanks

CNG status.

Is there any signal when the cng is ending? Like the Red light turns on, when its running on reserve. Nothing on my santro exec, the light remains on one point and yellow until the car starts missing and then i have to shift to petrol.

Is it the same will all Santro's ? What can be done for it?

Yea, there is no signal when CNG is ending up.
It is giving around 125-135km in city driving so after reaching 110 km or when it reaches at last dot I usually fill it up.

Its giving me 98-99 on cng with a bit of ac in Lahore. Is it ok? I guess it would be ok as time passes.

dude my club is giving 108kms in lahre city with 80%AC in 6.93kgs of filling

Yea u will get the better figures. If i do purly economical driving it would give me 140-150 km in city driving.

hello everybody!!
the problem i posted earlier is rectified by replacing the spark cables. not so many thanks to u guys. lol. but thanks to ppl on another thread on pakwheels. the problem i'm still facing is rough idling on petrol, the car runs fine on CNG. the guys from the hyundai dealership once cleaned the MAF or whichever sensor, the car ran fine for a 100km but started to idle at 2500RPM again on petrol. what should i do?

well bro it is good that ur one problem is solved. well ur second problem is definatly due to the sensor. I don't know the exact name of the sensor but this sensor is responsible for maintaining the idle RPM. I also had the same problem, at times the RPM was fine (at about 800-1000) and then used to shoot up to 2000-2500RPM. get ur sensor checked and i am sure ur problem would be rectified.

The HHM (Hyundai Hyderabad Motors) have made a minced meat out of my santro exec by doing so called "tunning". The cars pick on cng is horrible and I cant even describe the agony with which it accelerates with cng and ac in the ON state.
The pick is weak even on petrol.
I request somebody to tell me a place where a good 'mistry' is available in Hyderabad. (especially for Santro)
