I have Santro Exec. 2004. Six months back ,on first starting in the morning, usually enough water drops from the silencer were observed daily, which according to my understanding, was a good sign regarding the health of the engine. But nowadays, whenever its spark plugs are checked physically for cleaning, they are found dirty with carbon in the following order: S.Plug on the extreme right near Ignition Coils = badly dirty, then the other next to its left= less dirty, next third on left= lesser dirty and the plug on extreme left = clear (brown in colour). What is this phenomenon, I could not understand. So, as a temporary measure, I have to clean one or two plugs on Right side (near Ignition Coils) from time to time to keep the vehicle on road. Please guide................

My mechanic says overhauling with new parts and not engine block replacement. Esp for santro.
Btw i have santro 2009 driven 26000km so we once had this conversation while discussing santro parts availability. Self bought parts overhaul is always more durable.
Just my opinion.

I have been told that complete over haul process cost around 40 to 45k so in about same price range we may get another engine!

Fuel system repairing?? What is the problem? Fuel pump? Injector? or some wiring issues? Get it in repaired. Keep your ride up to date.

and i want to tell you my car engine oil replace to Shell Helix HX3 with STP treatment .... but pipe se FIRST starting k wakhat white smoke nikalta hay... SHELL HELIX RED AND STP TREATMENT OIL KI ADVISE OIL EXPERT NE DI THEE... OR smoke pipe se water drops bhi nahi atay ... fit engine k liay mujhay kia karna chiay ??? Ring Piston ka issue malom hota hay... kia karoo??

and do you have any idea How to Clean Car Glass Windshield Keeping car windshield clean is an easy?

Dear Bro,You must visit some good mechanic at your area.. he will guide you well.. As for smoke it must be some engine work required.. I drove my Santro Plus 2001 for 7 month with smoke and STP use.. Specially winter can pass easily.. I just kept my engine oil level between Low & High..If your car wind screen is having scratches.. it can be buffed for time being.. Santro Experts here can guide you more and well in this regard..

i don't think so,complete overhaul cost around 70 to 80K from official Hyundai workshop, anyway i will re-check my self!

Its near police line... I went from kashmir highway toward police line and than left from the patrol pump... rather in front of patrol pump ...

From last one month I was noticing that my Santro is consuming more fuel and giving low mileage.. It was worst fuel avg near 7-8 KMPH with AC within city. Previous avg was 12-13 within city with AC.. This problem solved very easily.. I just pour High Octane as per my bro advise and as Octane ends I switch to regular fuel.. AVG of fuel comes to normal.. Better then normal.. .. I use only octane without mixing normal fuel.. Just Rs. 1000/- Fuel filled.. Octane do work in some cases.. may be my fuel injectors were not giving equal fuel and octane cleared all.. Don't know exact but it did work for me

AOA Bros, my ride 2007 exec, 138K on odo, reduces engine oil, does 3000 km with 2L extra engine oil (Zic Hiflo) max speed on GT Rd. 140km on petrol, 130km on CNG both w/o AC. Black some in the morning, after some drive smoke not clearly visible, no water drops from silencer. 16 KM/L on Highway & 14 KM/L on local, both w/o AC.

Engine gives a Ghoooonnn Ghoooonnn sound only while approaching 100km/h in 4th gear and 120km/h in 5th gear, disappears once crossed these limits in their respective gears.

Kindly advise me what should I do to solve engine oil problem, please also advise some competent & honest mechanic in vicinity of Lahore.

New Tip, i heard its better to mix up high octane with normal fuel, high octane is expensive too

by the way what does high octane give you milage?
