5: can anyone tell me the signs on the panel of the car when you on the switch, i have one parking break light, engine oil light, door light when it is open, and battery light, is it okay or there should be some more signs on the panel of Santro Club model 2003.

Ans. Not sure about the 2003 model but mine one (2005) shows Battery, Oil, Hand Brake, Seat Belt, Engine Check Light.

9: There is DENSO plugs installed in my santro, when i visited the Hyundai twin city motors they suggest me to replace the DENSO with NGK. so changed it, one difference is that the DENSO has to contact terminals while NGK has only one, is that good?

Ans. The difference is single and double tip and only that NGK comes as oem spark plug in santro. As per performance i dont think more tips put much of a difference. I suggest you to stick to the original part.

10: How can i add coolant 500 ml tin. can i do it myself?

Ans, easiest way is to drain the water from your bottle with the help of a syringe and then put the coolent in it.

I was thinking of replacing them tooo. How much your car is driven btw???

Yar my car is driven around 44KM, I went to Hyundai Showroom for changing Oil+Air Filter + Front Diskpad (breaksho) on last Saturday (26th Dec).

They will suggest me to change the fuel pump cut off relay is a common problem in Santro they will received a notice from Hyundai to change the relay in order to protect the fuel pump motor.

The bill details as follow:
Parts:

1. Front Disc Pad = 3200Rs
2. Oil Filter = 300Rs
3. Cutoff Relay = 900Rs
4. Rear Wiper Arm = 900Rs

Discs Shinning = 1050Rs
Labour = 1500Rs (Total)
Lubricant (Shell 3L Simple no cng) = 1000Rs
Service = 300Rs

Total Bill = 8850Rs

Guys please do let me know is price list OK?

My santro 2004 is consuming too much engine oil.. after a lond drive of 600+ km I checked the engine oil n it was reduced to half on the engine oil dip stick... There is no clearly visible leakage as such, only a slight drop,(less than a ruppee coin size aday after a drive) well this amount is indicated in the manual as well. I am using 20W50 SHELL ENGINE OIL.. Engine is not weak as well..Yes the rpm is abit high(but does that have any impact on long drives other than idle switch ons?)

Guys i have a santro 2008 Club, lately it has been giving gear issue in the morning. the gear becomes kinda hard to shift in a cold engine. i have changed the gear oil twice within 2 months, normally ur not supposed to change it that soon but i went for a check up and the oil was bad... as per mechanic he said gear oil was completely wattery. any advice.
